[ADF] Fight for Australia!

Day 3,183, 09:25 Published in Australia Australia by Australian Defence Force

Welcome from ADF's new commander

I (Brooj) started as ADF's new commander a couple weeks ago, and there have been some changes over the past couple weeks. I'd like to thank Blazing.kiwi for great service as ADF Commander! Bautista Diego Reyes is serving as ADF's Second Commander, and together, we have implemented a couple new policies. This article will discuss those recruiting policies and our hopes for the future!

Great work, fighters!

First of all, I'd like to praise our fighters! When Bautista Diego Reyes and I started a couple weeks ago, ADF was routinely outside of the top 5 of military units in both damage done and opponents defeated. Over the past couple weeks, we've seen that rise to consistently top 3 in opponents defeated in eAustralia and top 5 in damage done. Bautista Diego Reyes has played a huge role in this by consistently ranking as one of the top fighters in all of eAustralia, but I'd also like to thank all of our other active fighters - JHead, Gally1990, ozdaz, Featin, St.Roar, Ragnerov, Blazing.kiwi, and Kangaroo69.

Weapon and Food Drops

We have implemented an ambitious daily drop program that is designed to encourage our fighters to fight at least a little each day. I am handing out the drops each day and keeping track of them in a spreadsheet that can be viewed by ADF and eAustralia leadership. If for some reason I cannot complete the daily drops on any given day, they will be handed out the following day with the following day's drops (so you'll get two days of daily drops at once). The daily drops are based on the "Fights Yesterday" for each ADF fighter seen in the military unit tab. We decided to base it on "fights yesterday" because the weekly leaderboards are not taking aircraft battles into account, but the fights yesterday do take these battles into account (in addition to normal battles).

The structure of the drops is as follows:

1 to 24 fights yesterday: 5 Q7 Weapons and 10 Q7 Food
25 to 39 fights yesterday: 10 Q7 Weapons and 25 Q7 Food
40 to 54 fights yesterday: 15 Q7 Weapons and 35 Q7 Food
55 or more fights yesterday: 20 Q7 Weapons and 50 Q7 Food

These objectives are designed to encourage our fighters to fight daily, and they are intentionally set at lower levels so that even fighters without access to a ton of energy can achieve them if they make it their goal. Every ADF fighter will receive these drops, regardless of experience level, but they will obviously be more helpful for newer players. ADF is well supplied to keep up these drops for at least the next couple months without any eAustralian government funding. Eventually, we might need public funding, but I do plan to make additional personal donations to ADF to help with supplies.

Recruiting

We are looking to add to our ranks. If you're interested in joining ADF, please feel free to send me a message. Right now, we are offering a recruitment incentive to current members of 200 Q7 weapons. To qualify for the incentive, a current member of ADF must recruit a new member and mail me (Brooj) about it. The new member must stay active in ADF for at least two weeks and defeat a combined total (over those two weeks) of at least 250 opponents. Once this occurs, I will send the current member the 200 Q7 weapons.

In addition, new members who complete these objectives above (two weeks of activity and a combined total of at least 250 opponents defeated) will receive 200 Q7 weapons of their own, in addition to the daily drops they will receive for fighting.

These recruitment incentives will be supplied out of my own supplies instead of ADF's supplies, so they won't be a drain on ADF's supplies.

Questions? Concerns? Just want to chat?

Feel free to send me (Brooj) a message if you have any questions, concerns, or if you just want to chat about anything. I'm always happy to help.

Keep fighting!
