We didn't even realize the battle had started, until we heard the artillery barrage. We climbed into our tanks and began our assault upon the bombed citadel.
The area had been decimated and the enemy stronghold was in ruins. There was an occasional shot being fired, but I couldn't tell you who was shooting.
I pulled the tank next to a pile of rubble, surveyed the area and waited for the armored personnel carrier.

The gunner noticed a scout. We engaged and a minor skirmish ensued.
Now, I don't want to take anything away from CrimsonNinja, but I took out two jeeps.
The shock troops hit the ruins with napalm and we hoisted our colors, over the main island.

I leaned against the tank and packed the hash bong. Before I could celebrate, a call came out from the radio. We were needed on the Maluku Islands.
