Work tax increased from 2% to 15%. That's a 7x increase in self-produced goods production costs.
That means producing FRM for selling using grain farms are now unprofitable. You might as well buy from the market than producing FRM using those grain farms.
Producing weapons is now even worse off, even with the bonus.

I didn't know that we have so many socialists in congress.
ePhilippines don't have bonuses and don't have producers, maybe just a few. So far, all our taxes went to countries who controled our regions and that's why they were so low. Now, we have regions back and it's time to fill country account with money. Most of that money comming from outher sources and multies, so, we are all on profite with this.

I was just surprised that my daily production cost went from 10-ish to 80-ish.
I make pretty well on top my production costs though so I'm not complaining.
I just wish that we could see where the money was going.
I'm producing enough to sustain my 2-clicker life so all's well.
As i said, there are just a few producers on ePhilippines and we can't set laws according just to them. Most of prople here don't produce or even spend, just multies and foreigners with licences. So, now when we have regions we must use that to fill national treasury. MOney stays there, don't go anywhere. We will use that money for MPPs and similar stuff.
Btw, these laws will hold just till we loose regions, after that we will return minimal taxes for all.

Well, at least there is a specific reason of this tax increase and we have the official explanation. I'm able to understand it. I don't support it, but I understand the motive 😉
just take a look on country income last two days. there are some results. Before this, we dind't have anything, except few producers making really low profit. I'm really sorry for these people. but this is for higher good.
However, aren't we advocating this just two months ago? We even just offered an increase to 3%. Isn't it better if the tax increase was gradual, say 5% then 10%, so on? Even if there are just few producers, they're still our market.
I'm a producer myself so I think I'm in a position to say what it looks like from producer's POV. I have 30+ factories/RM I work in everyday.
The PH market right now is really profitable for any food production and slightly profitable for any RM production. I can sell at default prices and still make a killing.
It's the low-quality weapons that isn't profitable at all, but this is influenced mostly by global WRM prices. Only Q5 to Q7 weapons are any profitable.
The 7x increase in work tax put a dent in profits, sure, but I'm willing to take the loss if it would help us keep existing/gain new regions.

we just using good situation with regions to earn more money for all. I'm sure situation will be returned as it was really soon.
all in all guys we need to get our regions back.... If we do it'll be profitable for all of us... so I suggest we do that right now...
