Greetings EZC Brethren. I come to you with a rather major announcement. TheNorm is stepping down as Commander of Easy Company and I am taking his place. In the words of our former CP, Baby Groot, “And who tf are you?” I was CO of Easy Company several years ago. I have been in EZC since 2012 and have been an Officer since 2013. I have done stuff and been involved in things. That is all in the past.

I want to give special thanks to TheNorm for having sat in the CO seat for the last 2 years. He has been through a lot and for a long time had little in the way of help from your Officer Corp. He never complained and worked hard to keep EZC going. We all owe him a large debt of gratitude for his work. Send him a PM letting him know how great he is, maybe send him 0.69 cc as well.

My first act as the new CO is to announce that I am going to be running a Trivia contest for all EZC members this weekend. It will be a Google Form. Some of the questions are easy, some are not. The top 5 get prize money but everyone that enters gets something so make sure you play along. First place gets 50k cc. 2nd gets 25k cc, 3rd place gets 10k cc, 4th place gets 5k cc and 5th place gets 3k cc. I am planning on having some sort of fun contest every month that does not involve kills so that everyone is on a level playing field. That does not mean we will not have kill or damage contests. Quite the contrary, we will be doing at least one of those every month as well.

My second act will be to restructure our existing Regiments. If you would like to be a Captain of a Regiment, please send me a PM and tell me why you think you would be a good Captain and what area of the real world you live in (time zone or country is fine, I don’t need your city or home address) so that we can try to get Captains from all over the world. There will be a survey of all of our existing members once we have our Captains set. The survey will be used to try to get people in the same regions/time zones to be paired with a Captain that will be active around the same time so they can control your DO accordingly. We will also set up several Air Only Regiments to give our flyers the same advantages. We will also work to create No Movement Regiments for those that cannot afford to move regularly to complete Daily Orders.

EZC has lost its way a little bit over the last few years along with the state of the game. My intention is to not only make EZC the Premier MU in the eWorld but also the most FUN MU in the eWorld. We want to get people active and engaged with the rest of their MU brothers and sisters and we want to keep you engaged. Expect to see more articles, wall shouts, contests, giveaways, ACTIVITY from your MU leadership.

Big things are happening within Easy Company and I am happy to be leading the way. I hope you all are as excited about the future of EZC as I am. I love EZC and all of her members.
