Join the new world

If anyone needs reminding I quit Erepublik several months ago on account that it had become a complete waste of time for me, since then I’ve got involved in a few different things in Uni like the SVP(soup runs), started to read more, joined a few entrepreneurial organisations, go to the gym now & also am now putting more effort into my Uni work.

So things are moving on and although I’m nowhere near where I want to be in relation to life, I think things are pushing somewhat in the right direction. So that’s the little life update, if ye were interested or not (PS you should all quit too) 😃


So for one night only, the undemocratically elected Eternal High King of eIreland, King Connell is back.

Anyways, lately I have been logging on once/twice a week to read what is in the news and although I missed it myself a number of people sent me personal messages alert me that even months after quitting the game, I was still being ripped on publicly. They were referring to Moomoohead’s interview with Dan Breen. Moo stated that I am his biggest enemy in the game and labelled me a nothing more than a troll in not so choice words...



I suppose he thought because I had left the game that I would never see it and although it is obvious to anyone who knows me and has played this game for more than a year that I am by no means, “a troll”, Moo feels so strongly about it that he will say it openly and publicly.

Initially I was a little suprised and if I am going to be totally honest a little hurt too. Moomoohead in the past has put a lot of work into eIreland and some people rate him highly, it is never nice for people with that kind of influence to say something like that. Especially considering the amount of racists, bigots, liars & theives that have gone through eIreland over the years...


If I was ever asked who my greatest enemy in this game was, Moomoohead, would not be on the list. In reality I figure the fewer enemies I have the better and as someone who is entirely mental, I try to avoid things such as “hate” for another person. I figure anyone can change and something I’ve learned over my life so far is that hate & begrudgery will only ever lead to more hate. In short, hate solves nothing.

Now don’t get me wrong, I may try to avoid having enemies, but I do have plenty of adversaries. I don’t think it’s possible to have an opinion and change something in eRepublik without coming into conflict with others. To change something whether for the good or bad, you will meet resistance, but I think one thing that must be remembered is that no matter what is said and done, no matter how differently you think the problem should be solved, that we have to realise that we are all here for what we believe to be for the betterment of eIreland.


Moo obviously cannot see that and if you know your eIrish history you will know that Moo has never realised that.



eIrish History
Around the time when we were wiped on the first occasion, everyone in eIreland knew that IrishBhoy was the best tactical brain we ever had. Being recruited by the Canadians & Croatians as the MoFA is probably one of the biggest commendations anyone can ever receive in this game. Yet when Moomoohead was in power he chose an incompetent MoD & MoFA, then when he realised his mistakes he went to IBhoy in secretive manner for advice.
Ibhoy duly explained how Moo’s plan was leading us into certain doom, yet Moo ignored him & proceeded with his own plan which led to probably one of the worst moments in eIrish history.



We all know what happened afterwards, Moomoohead left the country & the Irish Army was born...


The question to be asked is, why ignore the expert advice to save eIreland? Why label someone who gave 2 years to eIreland their biggest enemy and nothing more than a troll?


I can only explain that by putting ones interests, personal feelings and pride before the interests of the state they are supposed to be serving. I have always been known to be blunt, it is not a rosy conclusion, but I can see no other. There is no secret that Moo has kept grudges against a number of eIrish citizens. Division is not something a country as small as eIreland can afford.

Personal grudges should not come before the task at hand and if eIrish history has told us anything it is that too often this has occurred. The impeachments and infighting of old are only ever an election away, so lets keep the personal out of politics.


Moving away from the grudges which have so badly cost us in the past. If you look at Moo’s campaign articles, it appears as though he doesn't even know what is going on in the ministries at the moment. The lack of a full manifesto with full policies is also of concern. Not to mention the constant dodging of an answer regarding military funding which his "crew" so vehemently opposed. There is an air of, Moo thinking that he can waltz back into the government, change everything, get his own people in who also haven’t had a thing to do with eIreland's running in yonks and think that it will be for the best? Starting from scratch all over again is also one of the old eIrish practices, which created the inefficiency problems with the IDF and all the other eIrish ministries.

Don’t go and change the whole command system when it has been working so well for so many months and certainly don’t change it for this uncertainty and the old personal politics.


What I know of Columbia, is that she has been someone who has put a huge amount of work into eIreland over the last number of months which has led to the undoubted success of the last few terms. I also know the people who support her, their endorsement is never unmerited.



I expect those who I mentioned as stealth politicians in my quitting article to have a go at me here now, but only those who know eIrish history will understand what eIreland was and how far eIreland has come...

I’m not coming back btw, just the personal insults gave me itchy fingers & I wanted to respond. I don’t care about the game anymore, but I will always care about the eIrish community and if people say nasty things about me, make lies up about me like Nogin the Nog did back in the day. I will respond, because I believe a certain part of me was born from this game and I will always stand for justice.
