Where goes the social life?

Now even though I have only been a player of twenty one days I still feel some sort of addiction towards the game. Maybe not the game itself but the people that play.

I ask myself what is a twenty year old female doing at home on a Friday night? Talking to her eRepublik friends. Sad as it may be I stay up later than I would’ve if I had gone out. And in all honesty eRep has a better community basis than Facebook. But don't tell that to Mark Zuckerburg.








It’s as if the internet has given us some sort of cyber play ground to frolic in . Where you don’t need to get dressed up and made up to socialise with you fellow colleagues. Where it has fulfilled our daily quota of social gatherings in the comfort of our own home. It's the sheer laziness of it all.





Now let’s be honest nothing is going to replace going out and have a few drinks with some real friends. But what do most do after a fun night out? They’re either hugging the toilet bowl like it were some fair maiden or they hop on here or IRC or hit up Skype to share their frivolities with other “comfort of my own home social gatherers” A fine example will be tonight where none other than the decorated multi king himself Discrate1 will be gracing us with his paralytic self on Skype.
