What They Do In Shadows

Accused Member of Congressional Caucus Receives Black List

Members of Congress voted today to Black List Dominar Rygel XVI after evidence was made public of Dominar actively skirting IES protocols to boost membership in his own party. Other members of the Congressional Caucus of We The People were also implicated in the security breach but have yet to be indicted.

Dominar Rygel XVI is the elected Party President of We The People, and had a failed Presidential bid in the last election, recently started to interview potential citizen applicants and having others from the WTP Caucus allow them access into the country under the assumption they would become WTP Party members. By bolstering his support in the party, Dominar is trying to secure his position from ATO as there are other party members who are willing to recognize eUS Forums as the legitimate government of the United States.

In his defense Dominar asked to be censured, as he felt the IES is unfair to new players and has already decided to not run again as Party President. Votes to black list were 21 For, 1 Against & 1 Abstain, with a Black Sheep Caucus member being the abstaining vote and We the People splitting with 2 Ayes and 1 Nay.

This is what we expected from Congress as during discussion of the Black List, there seemed to be consensus of enough evidence to go ahead with a vote. While the discussions were relatively polite, there were a few Congressmen and Congresswomen who voiced there should be punitive damage against We The People as a party but cooler heads prevailed.

We as a nation cannot hold on to the belief in government if these types of incidents keep happening. While government action was swift and the damage was overturned, how can an actual citizen remain hopeful if these actions are taken by top party officials? We must remain united in our beliefs that workers will hold politicians feet to the fire and announce at the polls how workers of this great country feel come the next election.
