Wednesday Atlas: Results for Costly Costs (24/08/2011)

Day 1,373, 00:37 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by ApronChef

Yes, Atlas News (its just me again, me such a loner, I shall sit here writing this while drinking tea, as any eBritish citizen should do)

Costly Costs, outlined a fact that eCountry finances where not accessible via the in-game site, or without a forum account.

When the article was released, it gained the attention of a few people (one or two, sounds better if I say a few)
I had a minor discussion with Emergy Maxfell, whom was very helpful during the discussion, I explained to him that the costs of the eCountry, was not viewable to those who did not wish to make a forum account. Discussion Below: (simplified)

Emergy Maxfell: Financial reports are prepared every week with painstaking detail itemizing every expense, tracking all revenue, and reporting loans, military spending, and social programs for everyone to see. I can tell you what our balances were today, yesterday, or three months ago as well as how those numbers change over time.

ApronChef: I am simply outlining the fact that there is no way for people without forum access to see the information on expenses.

Emergy Maxfell: The Announcement section should be made public, that way financial reports could be visible without having a forum account. I'll speak with our Country President and see if this can't be done.

ApronChef: Thankyou very much for all your responses and the work you have done.

So Emergy Maxfell (being the great person that he is), understood the issue and announced the issue within a discussion with other governmental officials, and it was decided that the Daily announcements will be able to be accessed without a forum account, the finance reports are published every Sunday.

A result which hopefully will benefit many civilians within the eUK.
