It's not when you thin about it... If they let it happen anyone could say they brought relatives to the game. IP address and computer is the only thing that they can use for identification...

Main problem is you have a political module and the main part of it is voting... 1 person, 1 vote.

This would open can of worms... Not saying there aren't multis already, but this would just legalize it on a large scale.

According to FAQ it is allowed with restrictions. So as long as you don't send yourself... I mean, send your brother any gold or tanks your fine. Be certain to not share your password with anyone while all 100 of your relatives vote for the same person on election day.

Per FAQ:
The use of the same IP by more than one citizen is NOT considered to be a criterion of determining multiple accounts. Citizens are strongly advised not to make any interactions between accounts on the same IP.
Citizens in the same household are strongly cautioned to never share passwords with each other or "account sit".

So only one family member can play the game? Doesn't make sense. I could see if there's like 5-6 accounts on one IP address and all the money is being filtered to one account, but two different people (brothers) trading back and forth with each other is fine. The only time it's fucked is if one account is sending everything to the other.

And that is exactly the way admins should interpret the rule.

Since you knew the rules and you knew it isn't allowed to trade money with your brother then why you did it? Your brother got banned because his account level is way lower than yours , therefore he was treated as a multi account.

You could possibly create lots J Seemore but the downside is some online games will block the accounts from interacting with other accounts in-game as the IP address is mostly the same.

Then again Erep's antiquated communication system of carrier pigeons between admins, it would possibly take them a while to work it out if the IP didn't match exactly

The most common response to tickets that I get (not that I have fortunately had to submit one regarding account banning) is "Sorry it has taken us so long to still be looked at. Contact us if you still want us to look at this issue". At which point I contact them and hear nothing from it ever again. This has happened more than once.

Sorry to hear this, I only just did some graphics for him as well so the admins better reverse their stupid decision.

It's a shame that clear and obvious multi accounts (yeah come on we know a few in Aus and who runs them) are allowed to continue for a few months before the admins finally grow a pair and yet in other instances they use swift action. Should buy gold Pumba and then you'd be untouchable.
