Times have changed

Day 784, 10:55 Published in USA USA by s0beit

When i joined eRepublik, i knew nothing, i didn't know there was an IRC channel, i didn't know how the monetary system worked, jobs were fairly simple but overall there wasn't much to do, and wasn't much i knew.

eAmerica, was in disarray, i joined just after we regained new land outside of Florida, but a majority of eAmerica was under Russian attack, soon after i joined, eIndonesia was kicked out of eAmerica.

It took a while but eventually, over a longer period of time, eAmerica regained all its territory, including Hawaii and Alaska which even suprised myself.

Then the wall fell, "PEACE" crumbled and later, reformed as a smaller organization known as "Phoenix".

I never really understood the driving force behind PEACE, or what their purpose was for attacking as a new player, but i know i brought in new players (many of which later died), and became as active as i could during their invasion.

"PEACE" increased the strength of their enemies more than they know.

We have now, ironically attacked many former PEACE GC nations in retaliation for attacks which were caused by our attacks and were retaliation for the previous attacks by "ATLANTIS" nations.

What happened before that? Well that is a story for the wiki, eRepublik is young but many things have happened in our time, and a good majority of it before my time.

One thing i do know, is that i would normally disagree with a retaliation war, or a war of counter-liberation, but i also know that this is a game, and without war nations would die, the game would become boring, reserved, and driven primarily by politics, which i am also ironically usually interested in, except in this game, where it can be quite dull.

The war is necessary, for now, until the game reflects closer to reality by increasing my interest in politics and decreasing my interest in war, but, until then...
