The Ranking That Matters 2.0

Day 4,488, 18:10 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by NoTie112
Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

Some of you may recall the late citizen Walhallah, who fervently kept motivating our citizens to gain strength - and not necessarily XP - when the divisions where introduced. The good old times, where there was no Infantry Kit or Maverick Pack yet.

Evidently, The Ranking That Matters nowadays is the number of Legend ranks one has compared to other countries. On Day 4346 I posted an overview of the people with more than 180 000 strength and their respective ranks - which showed the significant lack of Legend Ranks. This matters, because each respective Legend rank gives a +10% bonus on damage done for our country!

The Ranking on Day 4346

So what does it look like now?

First of all, the potential in the number of players has significantly increased; From 18 to 21 players above 180 000 strength. Furthermore, whereas we only had 4 people ranked Legend before, we now have significantly increased it to 10! This can be obviously attributed to the increased activity in our country, which for example led to new citizens joining the eNetherlands from abroad (i.e. Rainy Sunday & Ch4nce).

As the bonus of Legends increase with every further rank, the first few Legend ranks may not be so significant, however. It therefore is interesting to notice that a few of the mentioned people are 'high risers' (upward arrows), doing lots of damage every week and significantly increasing their rank points. For example, Jordic69, Rainy Sunday, Van Der Kaczy and 911mic are all relatively close to going from Legend 1 to 2.

It remains of utmost importance to remain vigilant about the relative lack of Legend-ranked people, however, and work towards improving it. The current trends are promising, but we must persist! With an increased stature of the Netherlands on the international stage, more battles in which our soldiers can improve - and occasionally actual 'tanking' may be necessary. Utilize these opportunities, if only to apply for our Ground Warfare program The Green Beret.
