Basis of my argument is that the value of a house is not understood at the moment it adds 50 energy to your energy cap. It does not add 50 energy per day * 7 days or 350 energy. In 1 hour you could refill that energy using power pack and 10 recovery 8 times . Therefore 400 energy gained in 1 hour.
Furthermore you can toggle it on and off so you can use at your convenience. I have 168 hours if I use 5 hours per day I can use 1 house for 33 days not 7.
Ok now that we know what the real factors is driving the high house prizes I will show you my calcs.
INITIAL INVESTMENT:
5 X 10 Gold for 5 House Factories allowing 5 players to work per day in them.
= 50
1 x MAX HRM Factory also allowing 5 employees to work in them.
= 35
= 85 Gold
Hire 5 employees at 70 IEP per day = 350 IEP per day in salaries.
Now 85 Gold seems a massive risk to take but your risk is halved by the fact that you can dissolve the companies. Also You can fire any employee at the drop of a hat. Dont worry my sweet employees Boss Krakken will not fire you. Your in the pound seats.
So true risk is 85/ 2 = 42.50 and in 31 days you will make 48 Gold profit having recovered your initial investments etc etc and paying 10000 salaries.

So basically Krakken do more for financial advancements of irish citizens then actual ministry of finance....
But then MoF is probably too busy in keeping money of irish citizens on his private accounts using it as he please...

I thought the Q1 house added +50 to your house bank. If are using power packs and energy fill, you are not gaining anything.
It really only helps when 1. you are away from the game longer than you energy bank - not you and 2. you want to do higher damage without using EB like going for a BH or helping win a battle- not you either.
A player like you would waist money buying the house - IMO
no it raises your energy cap whatever you where trying to say. More energy means more everything in a day. basically with power pack you are regenerating faster at 400 per hour this means you need your ceiling is just that much higher . in truth it could be 1500 more production in the morning it could be 100 energy more in a fight. more is always better than less.
I guess I don't know the powerpack
You have a 1150 bank. It goes to 1200. Which would take 4 hours with power pack (I guess at 40 energy every 6 min). If you are back in 3.5 hours you got no gain from the house. You gain 50 health every time you are gone for more than 4 hours. 24 hours in the day means you can benefit at max 6 times which is 300 health.
If you turn it on and off for an hour, you are not gaining anything. You might as well work (or fight) to drop your energy down and then you will have the room for the new energy.
More is better than less, but at what cost?
your cap increases. that means more energy during the day. or whenever you want to toggle it on. it makes your game more flexible.
belief me for players with a massive energy drain daily houses makes a lot of sense. power packs has become indispensable.
houses are to stay people wont produce them at a loss.
Recovery Value for housing companies is 30%,not 50% like in other industries.

When/if you liquidate/dissolve your company you only get 30% of what you spent returned to you.
ah ok I see that now probably to counter buyers remorse. just wait a few weeks houses will stabilize. it has value as its 1 step closer to the Q6 and Q7 houses.which offers higher regeneration. anyway extra cap is always useful. they should make them stackable. ie each house adds 50 then a guy could buy say 10 and get 500 extra,
as long as Plato takes in player feedback he would bring houses back as a positive change. atm there is too much negativity on each update.
Q1 House = 1000IEP or 6G in return you get +50 health on your bar.
or you just wait 12 minutes or so to get the equivalent health back naturally and save yourself 6G \o/
Only people who could possibly want to buy a house for any other reason then "Wow shiny thing" are those tanks who stay logged on 24/7 and need feel the need to get an extra 2 or 3 kills in per day.
i.e Houses are trash as they currently work.
Not here to flame, but I believe your numbers to be in error. I am working on a different way of looking at it.
Houses are indeed profitable, but I'm discovering a new twist. I have a case that I'm working on that will break this down. Stay tuned...I also may be looking at it wrong, but this will help in bringing clarity and therefore demand to this new industry.
