Summary: Irish_Rebel_Reborn's Party Presidency

Day 1,606, 19:05 Published in Ireland Ireland by Gerald Smyth

I'm on a literary gush, four articles in one night!

Tonight, I am here to evaluate the Party Presidency of Irish_Rebel_Reborn. I voted for Irish and supported him in the beginning. But, as some of you may know from my previous articles we have entered into a fierce political warfare. Mostly on the issue of who were supporting for Party President the next time around.

I cite Irish_Rebel_Reborn's greatest visible achievement of his thirty day term was getting irishbhoy1967 to the COUNTRY presidency. His unification of three parties and getting an overwhelming amount of support I credit mostly to Irish. It's always good to see an Irish Socialist in office.

However, my most critical point of Irish's presidency is his inner-party stance. The Irish Socialist Party has two layers...the Inner-Party and the Outer-Party. The Inner-Party is more conservative (in comparison with the outer-party), traditionalist and establishment-based. The Outer-Party promotes a more progressive Irishist and a new blend of Socialism ideology.

Irish right now is the face of the inner-party. Stilpo is more of the ideological chief and godfather of the party, I'd have to say and have a deep level of respect for him. However, I still place him in the inner-party camp.

The Outer-Party has yet to find a leader. I was hoping Michael Collins would produce something however this fluttered and has seemed to have sunk. LacticAcid, although I place him with the endorsement of the inner-party I feel he may be on some level the embodiment of the outer-party.

So will we see an end of an era? From one establishment type to another? I certainly hope not.

And this isn't an exclusive thing, it's our actions now that shape what we do. I hope LacticAcid or Michael Collins will come out and be strong leaders. What we need is a stop to this inner/outer-party fighting and we need to embrace these new ideas and move forward and promote two things in this order:

1.) Irishism - the socio-political ideology for the promotion of Ireland
2.) Socialism - the economic ideology for the promotion of one another in a communal state

What do feel fellow Irish Socialists and if you're not one right now, I'd certainly switch parties.
