Dear eRepublikans,

We are officially in the love month of the year and a little under a week towards the 14th of February or otherwise St. Valentine's Day. I would like to take the opportunity to challenge all friends, allies and "enemies" and all self-proclaimed neutralists to forge a short love story. One that maybe they romanced about or one that could explain how they see love.

Share your story in an article and post the link to that article in the comments bellow. As if you do, you will enter The Love Story Telling Prize!
The prize of this little contest is 1,414,140 CC for the Winner which will be selected on the 14th of February.
The prize for the runner up or second place, will be 141,414 CC.

Few things to mention:
- Story must be about love.
- Story should be ideally written by you.
- Love does not always have a happy end, so your stories do not have to be all soapy and sweet (unless you want to tell such story).
- If you want to be a judge and help me with who get's the prizes/who's story wins, message me.
- Open to anyone, from any country.

Although the Story Telling Prize did not perform as well as I thought it could, I am still happy to have done something new and fun...

Your story was written very well, it genuinely felt a bit like a rollercoaster towards the end and made me feel a certain type of way.

A Devil and an Angel.

In the celestial realm, where moonlit skies hosted the timeless ballet of angels and demons, an intricate love story quietly unfurled its delicate wings. Seraphiel, adorned with feathers that shimmered like the pages of forgotten poetry, found herself captivated by the enigmatic allure of Azazel – a devil whose charm emanated from the ink-black shadows cast by his ebony horns.

Their clandestine meetings transpired on the very edge of realms, where the cosmic boundary blurred into an intimate haven known only to them. Stolen glances and whispered confessions echoed through the vastness, a whispered sonnet that defied the orchestrated symphony of celestial laws. In this hushed sanctuary between worlds, Azazel found solace in the radiant smile of Seraphiel, whose luminous countenance mirrored the verses of celestial love.

As their story unfolded like the delicate pages of a cherished manuscript, the celestial couple crafted a secret refuge, a hidden chapter nestled between realms. Here, love blossomed in defiance of the cosmic dictates that sought to keep their essences apart.

Yet, fate intervened when a celestial tribunal unveiled their clandestine liaison. Forces of light and darkness clashed in an ethereal tempest, and Seraphiel and Azazel, standing as one, became the epicenter of cosmic upheaval.

Amidst the celestial storm, Seraphiel and Azazel exchanged a tender moment, their love shielding them from the imminent retribution. "I would defy the very cosmos for you, my angel," Azazel declared with an unwavering gaze.

"And I, my devil, would descend into the depths for you," replied Seraphiel, a note of sorrow in her radiant smile.

As the celestial tribunal prepared to sunder their connection, Azazel summoned the flames of his infernal power. With a gaze of defiance, he proclaimed, "Let our love be an eternal flame."

In a conflagration of otherworldly fire, the celestial couple embraced, transcending their celestial forms. The tribunal, anticipating chaos, recoiled. Yet, from the embers arose a miraculous sight – the flames transformed into a protective veil, shielding celestial and infernal realms alike. Hand in hand, Seraphiel and Azazel emerged from the blaze, their love weaving a fragile truce between light and darkness.

The cosmos, transfixed by this paradoxical chapter, bore witness to the transformation of eternity. As they locked eyes, Azazel whispered, "Then he scorched the world in flames, but not a single spark touched her."

Their love, a poignant passage in the cosmic narrative, etched its mark on the ancient pages, defying the anticipated enmity between angels and demons. In this newfound equilibrium, a celestial dance unfolded – a timeless saga where the radiance of an angel and the shadows of a devil wove a symphony of cosmic passion and eternal romance. And so, the celestial book turned, revealing yet another chapter in the vast and infinite library of the cosmos.
