Party Presidential Reflections for April 2013

Day 1,974, 08:27 Published in Canada Canada by Randall Flagg 1999

Well PP elections have come and gone. Sadly I cannot count myself among the top five PP's this time around, but there is always next time. Since I do need to start working on party business, I figured I would instead offer
some analysis on this past election.

First the numbers:

The Canadian Progressive Front (CPF):

47% voter turnout with 71 out of 151 members casting ballots for Dozzer_x

The Military Dictatorship Party(MDP):

56% voter turnout with 70 out of 126 members casting ballots for I-
Bleed_blue-93

Clan Wolf (CW):

53% voter turnout with 44 out of 92 members casting ballots for Oinyo

Imperial Party of Canada (IPC) / David Rex is Crisfire's B****?:

55% voter turnout with 36 out of 66 members casting ballots for David Rex

Sons of Anarchy:

53% voter turnout with 26 out of 49 members casting ballots for Quimbie Muffins

So a few interesting developments here, in my humble opinion.
The first thing one notices is the voter turnout was not bad. Better than real life elections, but I still think there is much room for improvement. But such is the life of top five parties when people join them for the sake of joining a top five party.

For the CPF, MDP, and CW, there wasn't much surprise in the winners. I gave Dozzer_x a better run for his money than the competitors for the other parties, but even still he handily won the election with 48% of the vote. Otherwise, the MDP and CW elections were fairly well decided before they even began.

The IPC has had an interesting turn of events with its listed name as David Rex is Crisfire's B**** under the elections page, but not on the party page. Possibly the work of an upset outgoing PP? Who knows....

And within the Sons of Anarchy, the former PP Lcamero (now Shere Richard Parker) has stepped aside and Quimbie Muffins is PP. I consider this interesting as I frankly had not seen it coming. Partly because I had not paid attention to the Sons of Anarchy in some time, and partly because I did not expect Quimbie to rise to such heights in Rolo's chosen party. I had thought there was some small amount of animosity there in the past. Again, this is what happens when I do not pay attention to some political factors....

Nonetheless, I wish all top five PP's luck in their coming term. I predict this term will have allot of activity given the opportunities that arise from slowly gaining our country back, as well as summer coming on and many university players get their activity levels back up as their school comes to a close. Personally I am in the latter boat and am looking forward to serving the CPF as best I can.

So for now, good luck and have fun.
