My dearest fellow citizens of the Netherlands,

Sir Winston Churchill once said that history is the most important aspect of statecraft. And in order to achieve a bright future for our glorious country, we must look back to the steps we made up until now. I am a proud citizen of my country and I am willing to do anything to work towards this bright future for our country. Why am I telling you all of this? Because today, I am officially announcing that I'm running for President of the Netherlands.

After having served as Minister of Foreign Affairs under President NoTie112 and as Vice-President under President Jordic69, I feel that it is the perfect time for me to take over control. Our main focus for the coming month will be to keep on strengthening our ties with our fellow ORION-member states and other allies. By gaining strong relationships with powerfull nations, we protect ourselves from foreign invaders. This is very important for a small country such as ours. One with a history of isolationism and fulnerability.

The government for the month of August will consist of the following people:

Vice-President: odan
Presidential Advisor: Jordic69

Minister of Finance: Trannsvaal

Minister of Defense: odan
Defense Advisor: Weekstrom

Minister of Education: Gwom
Minister of Home Affairs: Feddolt

All of these men are seasoned statesmen and politicians who love to serve their country and I'm very thankful to all of them for wanting to join my administration. Due to the holiday period, I was unable to find a Minister of Foreign Affairs. Which means that every matter of Foreign Affairs will be handled by the President and the Vice-President. It is possible that throughout the month, some posts will be taken over by other players who are unavailable at the moment due to the holidays.

Last month I experienced the most efficient way of communication through Telegram. I will try to implement that as much as possible within the national government, as it has already happened with ORION.
Many are still on vacation, including me. So in the first week things will move a bit slower than usual. But starting from the 10th of August, I will be fully available again to serve my country. I will log on every day to check my messages though.

Dear citizens, I thank you sincerely in advance for putting your trust in me. A vote for me is a vote well spent.

Really, with:

odan: responsible of a dead forum no one wants to even log, a bad MU commander chose by him, a bad irc channel almost dead and basically the problem behind disunity in our country, without counting he was the worst president that eNL ever had.

Traansvaal: a dictator who can't be neutral and now this guy want him in charge of our financial status when he never have showed a fucking report about our communes in USA and etc.

Feddolt: a random no one know as MoHA.

Jordic: a player more interested in poor attempt to be recognised in eRepublik with bad articles about the stupid bad gameplay, more like Rican trying to change and actually improve what eRepublik labs have decided, someone who said he will write advances and stuff and still nothing.

Really! And you think he's the best candidate widest people I his government Lol

Well, I'm glad you recognise that these players have made a name for themselves. 😉

Except Feddolt, who actually is not entirely a nobody. He has been around for a long time, and has recently been dCoC and MoHA.

You can see everything as a negative, but of course that would be false. If that truly is your world vision, I feel very sorry for you...

This at least is a proposed government with some imho good people in it. And note: people from all of the largest five parties: VN, DemNL, I&W, GPN and ReL. I find this an accomplishment, especially given the holiday season.

See all you do is bitch moan and complain. Even when new people get into the government you are oppose to them, cause they aren't know.

You disagree with every active player we have yet you claim to love the community, you call for new people in government all the time, but when it happens you again complain about it. You are contradict yourself all the time. How about you start doing something positive or just leave.

Good question, the Presidential Advisor will not engage in any affairs with third parties. He will only explain some matters when needed or simply give advice when asked and only when asked.

I'm not sure if I'll still be in the Orion HQ group chat but if I am I'd like to volanteer as MoFA advisor just to give you some backup. If you accept please note that I won't be doing any FA work. I'm not intending to invest time in the gov this month.

Ok, thx for the clarification. Tbh it sounds a bit as a missed opportunity; The PA is a very internationally oriented player with lots of connections. So therefore I'd think he would be suited to take the role better than the vCp especially as the latter has other duties at hand.
But perhaps the PA didn't want/have the time?
