My Platform - Mark Morcom

Day 946, 10:44 Published in South Africa South Africa by OKayOK

Once again we are on the brink of another congressional election. I am putting myself forward as a candidate in Mpumalanga in service of this great country.

Who am I?
For those of you that don't know me, My name is Mark Morcom and I have been involved here in eSouth Africa for over a year, in fact it is where I have always been my entire e-Life. I was a military man towards the end of the second republic, but have re-focused myself onto the political spectrum. I am, and will always be (to the best of my ability) in the service of this country.

What qualifies me for congress?
Although I believe it is vital to get fresh players into congress, the presence of experienced players is equally vital. I offer experience. I have served as a congressman in eSouth Africa four times, as vice-president once and as President twice. I also served as Military advisor to the eSouth African Independence League (S.A.I.L) during our time of exile at the end of the second republic.

What are my goals
I have said this before, and will echo it again this month. A congressman cannot set goals but a congressman can be ready to serve. Obviously a congressman can have values. I value low taxes but not at the expense of Government. I value free market, yet a stable economy. I value democracy, and I value governmental transparency. Politics and leadership is all about doing the impossible which is making everyone happy, unfortunately this is often impossible.

So, come election day, follow the MoS paper and make sure you use your vote fairly and in a way that does not jeopardise eSA.

Regards

Mark Morcom
