Mixed Emotions

Mixed Emotions
I have some mixed emotions following last night's election in Mississippi. I am upset that I wasn't able to have a chance to compete for a term in Congress under normal conditions, but I am extremely proud that the nation rallied to stop an Enemy of the State, a person who has never held the nation's best interests at heart, from getting elected to Congress. I have faith that we as a nation will be even more motivated to keep people like Ajay Bruno from being elected to Congress, and I predict that we will work even harder to keep them from even getting on the ballot during the Congressional elections.
My Future Plans
As I stated yesterday, I will continue to serve the eUS to the best of my ability by continuing my work as the eUS Ambassador to eSouth Africa. I have enjoyed my work thus far, and will continue to enjoy it throughout the next couple of weeks. I also plan to continue fighting for my country as a loyal member of Rogue Squadron, one the nation's premier military fighting unit's.
In addition to the work that I do directly for the nation, I also plan to try and roll out some new articles during the next few weeks, as well as some interviews with major political figures. I have already started on a list of questions that will be sent to the winner of the now upcoming Presidential elections, and I look forward again to seeing who will be running, and to see if we have another close election like the one seen last month between Glove and Civil Anarchy.
Conclusion
I would of course like to thank the many people that read my articles during the campaign season, and the many more that will be reading them in the future. My work with Meet The Press is still the most enjoyable work I do on eRep. It always has been, and most likely, it always will be. Of course, this article wouldn't be complete without giving props to PigInZen, the newly elected Congressman from the great state of Mississippi, and the candidate that we all rallied behind in the closing stages of yesterday's contest to ensure that the nation could rest a little more easily today.
Until next time, I'm Portcolumbus, and this is Meet The Press.

You are a class act, Portcolumbus.
lol, really?
Actually, I gave away too many of my mobile voters to my friends, and in the end I didn't have enough left to save myself safely.
@Kodos, thanks, and continue to stay with Meet The Press for more articles/interviews
@Troll (RGR), Well, regardless of why you ended up getting beaten, you got beat. A victory is a victory, and a loss is a loss, regardless of the margin of victory or defeat, and regardless of what led to it.
You know, if it wasn't for RGR spoiling it, Mississippi could of been a really great race. Maybe next month we'll get paired in the same state again and we can have fun duking it out.
As ever though, a true gentleman.
Voted.
Class.
Got to get you elected man.
Well, let me make this statement: I would rather spend my entire life out of Congress and have no Enemies Of The State in Congress than be elected to Congress and sacrifice the nation's security.
I am sure many others would make statements of similar nature or agree with the one above. Me having mixed emotions not at all means that I would think of wanting this race for myself over the protection of my country.
You are a class act, Portcolumbus. x 2
Anyone reading your articles can't help but feel the emotions, each phrase or sentence that you write, is filled with. It's a real talent & one that I hope you explore even more once you graduate from high school.
Also, while it's really neat that you are serious about the game, your place in it, I really hope that you don't take it to heart eh.
Good luck you! o7
@Ajay, "Actually, I gave away too many of my mobile voters to my friends" chickensguys didn't need all those votes, why did you waste so many?
You are a class act, Portcolumbus. x3
Without a doubt.
Classy portcolumbus, very classy. What was done had to be done for the sake of the eUSA. Ajay can not be allowed to win any election. He has proven what he is time and time again. Sadly you were caught in the crossfire. I wish I could have voted for you instead. Take Care
portcolumbus if only more people felt this way this game may actually not have so much damn drama. Class act for sure. You have my vote! o7
Hear, hear
