Mixed Emotions

Mixed Emotions

I have some mixed emotions following last night's election in Mississippi. I am upset that I wasn't able to have a chance to compete for a term in Congress under normal conditions, but I am extremely proud that the nation rallied to stop an Enemy of the State, a person who has never held the nation's best interests at heart, from getting elected to Congress. I have faith that we as a nation will be even more motivated to keep people like Ajay Bruno from being elected to Congress, and I predict that we will work even harder to keep them from even getting on the ballot during the Congressional elections.

My Future Plans

As I stated yesterday, I will continue to serve the eUS to the best of my ability by continuing my work as the eUS Ambassador to eSouth Africa. I have enjoyed my work thus far, and will continue to enjoy it throughout the next couple of weeks. I also plan to continue fighting for my country as a loyal member of Rogue Squadron, one the nation's premier military fighting unit's.

In addition to the work that I do directly for the nation, I also plan to try and roll out some new articles during the next few weeks, as well as some interviews with major political figures. I have already started on a list of questions that will be sent to the winner of the now upcoming Presidential elections, and I look forward again to seeing who will be running, and to see if we have another close election like the one seen last month between Glove and Civil Anarchy.

Conclusion

I would of course like to thank the many people that read my articles during the campaign season, and the many more that will be reading them in the future. My work with Meet The Press is still the most enjoyable work I do on eRep. It always has been, and most likely, it always will be. Of course, this article wouldn't be complete without giving props to PigInZen, the newly elected Congressman from the great state of Mississippi, and the candidate that we all rallied behind in the closing stages of yesterday's contest to ensure that the nation could rest a little more easily today.

Until next time, I'm Portcolumbus, and this is Meet The Press.
