Malcom's Journal Entry 2: Heard Joke Once

Newb goes into doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Says he doesn't understand the media or why he can't get ahead in anything.
Doctor says "Treatment is simple. The President of the United States is in town tonight talking about our future of America. Go and see him. That should pick you up."

Man bursts into tears. Says "But, Doctor...I am the future of America."

Good joke.
Everybody laugh.
Roll on snare drum.
Curtains.

I saw joke once, joke was on an ad. Said I could start or end a war, said I could be president or congressman and make a better world.
Saw joke once, joke said I was important and my vote counted on issues.
Heard joke once, it was government radio.

It's getting colder outside, better pull on an extra coat.

In a lot of ways I have always known this game mirrors RL in it's incompetence. But like a fungus the incompetence in politics seems to grow quite fast.
Why is it we jump to war because things aren't exciting? Why do we blame other countries for our own actions? Who gave us the right to jump in and liberate anything?

No one did. You hear me? No one.

It's getting more and more clear that friends and enemies are just convenient for a time in this game, but after that, if you're not needed too bad. See ya. End of story.

Of course we'll never heard the end of the utter BS that so and so fired on so and so. Or that it was really this guy's fault over here. It doesn't matter, nothing is hopeless...not while there's life.

I'm standing in front of my closet now, old military uniform with patches on it. I remember those days, long time ago, but I can still remember those days. Where at least when the govt hated you it wasn't made public.
I think I'll run my fingers over the patch for a little bit, feel the fabric. It's always good to remember the good ol days right?

Remember the days of national pride? Or how about the days of brothers fighting together? It’s always easy to stab a friend in the back but not so easy to help a friend up, because that takes work and trust. Two things the eUS isn’t very good at anymore.

And now we have a supposed crisis?
The country that invades other countries to teach them a lesson and "liberate them" from their bad governments has a crisis? A $69.00 dollar crisis?!

One way we will never get Canada back is to talk to them like they are a little child. They are their own country. Evry and his administration have handled this situation the worst way possible. Evry is a disgrace as a president and so are those who have stood with him as he pushes delusions in his paper. I personally have dropped over 200K in damage for Canada against my own country. I am not a terrorist and before you call me one please click here to read the dictionary definition of a terrorist.
I simply fought for the country that was still sane.

Don't feed me and the rest of America the lie that we have a crisis.
When you go to the bar every Friday and wind up puking your guts out on the lawn Saturday is that a crisis?
No, it's a habit and a habit with a lot of power is an addiction.

The only way you'll ever read this article is because I had to have a group vote it up enough to get exposure! It used to be where we would write great articles and those got voted up because of content.

Plain and simple we live in a country where power and attention have become god.
Bow down and worship if that's what you want.

Remember this, nothing is hopeless...not while there's life.

There’s still one more entry to this journal.

On a side note you'll be able to hear my terrorism rant via the radio because Dirty Scarlet Silverbead and I go back to the radio next month.
