Joining the race for Dublin Mayorship.
Brian Boru
Announcing my candidature for the Dublin local elections for the Ireland First party.
As a social democratic candidate, I intend to improve the assets of the capital of this fine land, that at present is in an underdeveloped state.
I believe in cooperation with all other elected parties, and intend to set up a consultation council made up of members appointed from these parties to help make Dublin a worthy city for the status of capital.
I also intend to start a campaign to get people moving out of Dublin into the less populated areas to strengthen them.
Brian Boru,
Ireland First Candidate for Dublin.

You are going to make Dublin a city worthy of being a capital by moving people out???
@Igor: The Dublin Migration Scheme is needed.
Maybe so bit it will not make Dublin a more influential city. It will be of benefit to eIreland as a whole but will reduce the population and therefore less influential as a capital. I am not saying that migration is a bad idea but that there is a contradiction here
No Igor, I intend to improve Dublin while moving a small amount of people out to underpopulated areas that are in need of citizenry.
At present, Dublin is vastly larger than the rest of the country.
Also what is with everybody ripping my lines of inter-party cooperation?🙂
Everyone is talking about it but I got little response when I posted it here and on the forums. Saying that I have been talking to Merolk a bit and I had a chat with Fionn yesterday...
I personally don\'t think so. What advantages are there of an overcrowded city in Erepublik? Nada bar a insignificant productivity bonus for companies based in Dublin.
Igor, it\'s fairly standard operating for local councils to consult other parties.
i am running aswell: http://www.erepublik.com/article-644802.html
looks like to members of the army council are competing against each other lol
let the best man win
Aye.
I am not running. Inquitus is going up for us.
He is a great politician and while you are both worthy adversaries, I think that Inquitus and the vast political experience and acumen is what Dublin needs in this time of rebuilding.
Igor I say we move IUP members out of Dublin and into the outlying areas. Places like Waterford, Cork, Dundalk and Galaway
Jaysus lads, you could\'ve told me about my \"statis\" typo.....
@patton:No
\"Region productivity bonuses\" are going to be a factor in the productivity equation in V1 I believe. I think a system to subsidize moving ticekts to get people to where they actually work would be best. For example, if most of the good gift factories are in waterford, then people with high gift skill should get a government grant to move there.
