Interview with Claire Louise

Claire Louise: commander of ADF

1)What is the ADF?

The ADF (Australian Defence Force) is the governments military unit. It's the only unit that is funded by government and is aimed at players in division one, although anyone can join.

2)How can ADF help young e-Australians?
It can help by providing supplies to those who complete their daily orders, myself and my second commanders are all friendly and experienced players who can provide help and support if anyone needs it. We also try as much as possible to let people know what's going on, and when I have the time I lurk in the chatroom and see how peeps are doing.

3)How it runs?
The ADF, in regards to supplies, runs like this: To get supplies, you have to complete your daily order for the day previous. I have recently been asked why we don't always supply to everyone even if they haven't fought, and the answer is this - we don't have the money to supply weapons every day to every member. A good proportion of accounts will die, and I'd hate to be sending weapons out to an account that isn't active. It's a toughie, but it's a balance between active fighters and not wasting a ton of cc.

4)What supplies do you give to members?
Currently we supply 5 Q7's to those who complete daily orders. I need to look at the spending to see whether that could be increased, or whether those who do more kills could get more weapons. Need a good think about it.

5)What do they have to do?
Not too much, actually. Daily orders obviously, but to begin receiving supplies for that we ask that ADF members fill out a very quick survey (it takes 30 seconds and it's just their eRep name and profile link) which can be found here - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/R823H5Q So for anyone who doesn't currently receive supplies, click that!

6)What’s your thoughts about the e-Australia in the future?

It's gonna be tough, just like it always has for eAustralia. We'll probably continue to be occupied, there's a good chance we won't have regions, and it will probably transpire that we'll plod along as usual. We have some big allies, but we also have some big, and occasionally quite spiteful enemies who could (and have in the past even recently) tried their hardest to wipe us even when we pose no threat at all. That's just eAus!

Thank you Claire for the interview!
