We keep failing in military sense, now more than month. We are lack of coordination, Irish army as state MU should be a leader in innovation and coordination and should be example in fight.
Ireland need to do a big step in finally connecting all MU's, together ofc previous month's indicated that all Mu melting in one IA is impossible . We should think of disbanding of IA in this current shape.
It's not that bad shape IA, but there is missing some of old charm. At start of government revive IA by bringing together all Irish Mu at one place but gov. failed and now is time to make changes in IA by different approach, helding a MoD position means that you are a Irish army leader and there is first mistake, in future we should separate those two position's.
MoD should be managing all MU in Ireland, he should be appointed to work with each Mu in Ireland and coordinate with those Mu, to become more effective at battlefield. With all Mu commanders who will becoming something like generals in rl they should be in some of war council, who will developing strategies and coordinate MU, to become more effective. Putting damage in right place at right time is crucial for Ireland. MoD should run a fight night, yeap you remember Sunday strike s when was last time have those ?
Not having money is not excuse to do nothing. they always will be lads who will donate wepp and food for our cause. Yes is true those strike was not have that effective damage but they raised our reputation with our neighbours.
Irish Army- should be disbanded or they need a serious facelift, there is no coordination, IA GAMES was step in right direction but where is that now, where is stuck with that.
IA need to become more effective unit, people need's some fun or they will get bored at once, we need to Strength our inner Organization , and for good sake we need coordination , with our regiment captain or with MoD or with commander.
IA should be example, we should cut off all those inactive and Pm all active players and coordinate with them on irc channel or trough PM,. We should reward those who connect at irc and follows order's from Mod. We should implement like soldier of week and month with rewards in wepp or new shinny avatars or something similiar. We should rewarding activity.
But whole this article is irrelevant without coordination(and without people who fight each day) we should seriously think about separating MoD from state Mu and joining all MU to one supreme command- with Mod AND his council + CP of course.
We need better communication and organisation, we need a good reason to become active again , Ireland is now at his beginning (once again) and we should to question a lot of thing, we need to think outside of box, we should question future congress, future army strength and coordination and question future economy politics, now we have plenty of time to implement all those old ideas, now is time to rebuild Ireland.

If we are going to have an official national MU, then I'd think the MoD would be the person to lead it.

some good ideas. I think the biggest issue is a lack of new leaders with passion and energy for the game (no disrepect meant to the people who are currently working hard). Smaller MU might develope that or letting new MU set in regiments of the IA. Let the new leaders be the captains, wear there own aviators, have a unique idenity, and have there own mass PM's.
Ireland was at it's strongest financially/militarily/internationally at precisely the same time MU's proliferated here.
It is symptomatic of prosperity for citizens to exercise their free will.

I kinda I like the idea of a national war council with MU commanders. They are after all the most experienced in war mechanics.
And a greater use of smaller MUs could stimulate competition and activity and comradery. Could be very effective assuming there is proper coordination. But that is a huge IF.

You'd think a war council would be a common sense thing already in place, but apparently not.
The problem with the IA is that it attempts to do far too much for the structures and resources that we have.

MoD running the military is never a good idea. As a former eUS Sec. of Defense as well as high ranking officer in the eUS military, I know that you can't restructure an MU every month with every single administration.and all their ideas. There needs to be stability, but the structure should be governed by the military itself, with orders coming from the executive branch.
I also disagree with the idea that the IA needs to be disbanded. Restructured...yes.
That said, there should be a checks and balance system put in place. Brian is correct in that some sort of war council would be the wise way to go. As it stands, we have one person taking on a lot of responsibility, which has made it near impossible to keep anything organized.

I'd vote for a War Council.
Positions of MoD and IA Commander are separate at the moment, but as noone really steps up for MoD nowadays then I get a call to head it up. Which splits my time across MoD and IA, and with IA's supply issues, its a struggle. I think we have a large amount of talented people in eIreland, but very few seem to be stepping up to take on more responsibility.
