how active are citizens?

Ok rather than use web analytics software to look at what percentage of users come at least once per day and for how much time (if you don´t know check the latest admin daily), I was wondering how we could (as a citizen not the admin) know and define the percentage of active citizens in erepublik.
I mean the normal defenition of an active user in most sites or worlds such as second life is a user that has logged in at least once in the past month. But that doesn´t work for erepublik, if you don´t log in fot that amount of time not only you are clearly inactive, your citizen actually dies (unless you sent him on holidays).
So far I've come with 2 possible measures. One is all over the place an that is political participacion. Participacion at the last local election was 35% on average and 60% for the presidential elections.
Another is unemployment rate, the level of unemployment is on average 22% it varies a lot depending on the country but I feel this is could be a more accurate measure of citizen activity. After all if you want to eat you need to work. Also most company managers tend to fire emplyees who don´t come to work for more than 2 days in a row (Cicero, my manager has become so good at this that he mut be better than Donald Trump at saying "You´re fired!"😉
. But that would mean that 78% of our citizens are active, from experience that sounds a little high, in particular in what is still a beta version that is a little dry in some aspects.
So what do you think is the real % of active citizens in erepublik?

have an idea. You could go by ranking. I'm new here and i've only trained military twice. I've only worked twice to. But even so I'm in rank 3279 of 7844. This suggest that moar then 4000 people bellow me have put in less effort than me. So i'd say the inactivity is prety big.
I'd say in eRepublik 7 days without activity is a clear indication of inactivity. Otherwise, 0 food stock could also be it.
Define active. Logging on once a day, working and training, I'd say more than 50% are active. But if you mean active, as in reading newspapers, browsing forums, writing stuff, chatting, etc. I'd have to say about 5-10%, tops. I can count on my 10 fingers people I see commenting newspapers every day, and being active in the forum.
In our (Erepublik team's) opinion Active Citizens = Live citizens. The number of Citizens shown in the homepage represents only the Active Citizens (not including dead or banned Citizens).
Hi George, I know but interesting to see what the community considers an "active citizen" because it does take a few days for a citizen to die when without food. Also a citizen could buy a lot of food and then not work anymore but stay alive using his stock but he would get fired.
