So, do you guys want me to start them up again? Since the old ones expired (well, the domain did, and the guy that hosts them has been AWOL for over a year); that said, I've got a slightly old database copy of the 'old' forums on my computer.

It has all the users, posts, threads etc. - minus around 10% of the data due to it being a bit dated. I've also got the theme more or less as well.

I could set up a more or less 'recovered' forum in a few hours, with some noteworthy improvements.

Benifits:

- PDB; Presidential Daily Brief section, members of the cabinet and the President post daily threads entailing their progress, and other notes - stickies could be made of targets. Used to happen during the McFarland era and was pretty effective.

- General Discussion areas; discuss general stuff.

- Secure Discussions; secure discussions for people that are actually Pakistanis and not multis, hence, some level of classified info can be securely released & discussed.

- Education Section; tutorials, help/question section etc. with good linking to external sites and such.

- Used in the 'New Player Message' to help people get more active
---> Forums can have a 'New Player Message' of their own with better BBCode, no character limit and such.

- Can compile an email list of all ePakistanis, then send them emails during times of emergency

- Organize other games, tournaments, and such

- Get out of the wig's (rea😛 admins) thumb, and have some freedom (heck - we can start building a Judiciary, post articles over on the forums for better discussion and build ourselves a history through it)

- Can use Facebook/Twitter/Orkut sharing options to generate more publicity for the COMMUNITY (where people get interested at), and not just the game

- Can conduct democratic elections for congress completely on the forums, without threat of multis, then have the winners become the 'official' candidates

- Parties can be fully organized, as well as Military Units, with their private forums and such

Cons:

- Some of you would have to register, unless I/we pay the Liberty Party in the eUS to buy their plugin off them, that allows you to login securely using just your eRep account

- I'd have to hire a few moderators, and maybe an admin; shouldn't be too hard, though.

- My time would have to be used 😛

Oh, forgot to add, my hosting's offshore so you'd all be free to post links to new movies/games etc. and generally be chill.

Another thing I forgot to add, I can incorporate IRC into the forums, so they become Pakistan's one-stop-shop for excellence; also, tools could be made specially, and hosted off the same domain.

I had offered to make new forums when the previous ones went down. But since no one was interested so I didn't but I think they wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Well, i got an idea here,

Why not we make a form about citizenship and then it will redirect to our Congress Section then the congress will do voting and if that person get 60% votes then he will be accepted.
