Fighting 101

What you need in order to fight:

You need to be at least at level 3
You need your health to be higher than 20
You need a battle

Where to find battles:

You can find battles on the top left of your home page "Military Campaigns"
If you see "Belgium is not involved in any active battles". it means you can’t fight from home and need to move to another country which is involved in an active battle. If you want to know which country is involved in a battle, you need to go to "Wars".

Which battle to choose:

If there is more than one battle available, look for citizen orders in this newspaper: MoD Press Department. Another way to know where to fight is by looking at the campaign of the day chosen by Belgium’s High Command.

When to fight:

When you enter a battlefield you’ll see the "Domination Bar" with each belligerent’s country points. A battle is divided into 2h mini-battles. To win a mini-battle, your country needs to have more than 1800 country points. To earn points your country needs to hold the bar over 50%. See below how points are distibuted. If the domination bar is at 60% or higher for Belgium and her allies, wait if you can for the next round. If Belgium already has the 1810 country points needed to win a mini-battle, you should wait for the next round. Otherwise, fighting would be a waste of influence which we can’t afford. The first side to win 8 mini-battles wins the battle

How points are distributed :
In the first 30 minutes of the battle, 10 points at every minute your country holds the bar over 50%. In the time frame 31 - 60 minutes into the battle, 20 points at every minute… 61-90 minutes into the battle; 30 points at every minute… In the last 30 minutes of the battle, 60 points at every minute….

How to get your wellness higher:

There are four ways to get your wellness higher - First is to consume food. All you have to do is buy food and then press the “Consume Food” button. You can get a maximum of 300 health points per day. - Second is to own a house. Having a house in your inventory gets you health points at 00:00 eRepublik time (quantity variable according to house quality, see house formula here. - Third is to use gold. Not recommended for young citizens. Fourth is using Energy Bars. You will get an Energy Bar only if you rank up or if you complete particular missions. Always remember that an energy bar can fill up your health up to 100. So better use it once your health is as low as possible. Energy bar is consumed by pressing « Eat Food » button.

How to fight:

Pretty simple! Hit the "fight" button. Be careful though. Don’t fight more than you can afford. One more thing… In order to get influence, thus ranking-up, you need to kill your opponent. So make sure to bring his health down to 0.
