Federalist Pride. Vote Fed for Congress!

Day 3,228, 12:09 Published in USA USA by Kody5

Why vote for the Feds? Those of you who don’t, might never even think of voting for us.
So, I decided to attempt to steal to your vote or at least to try and make you think before you vote this congressional election.
Because I believe without a single doubt that the Feds are the better option.
So I thought I would dedicate this article to telling you why I believe this way and what lead me to believe this way.

I joined the Federalist party around 5 years ago. I joined around the 5th day of my account and I wish I could tell you I joined the Feds because I believed in them from day 1 but it was more simple then that. I joined them because they were the second party at the time. I thought playing first would be to easy but second could give me a reason to do something in the party more and it did.
When I joined the party I was immediately greeted with open and happy arms. I quickly learned that the Feds were the most pro new player party in the eUS and it’s a trait I believe we still have today. We are the only party that has been consistently for new players. Other parties can be welcoming and supportive sure but they’ve never been so dedicated to the new as much as we have.

On the first day I became a Fed my erep career began. I started small as everyone did, working on some monotonous gdoc for the Fed FBI, writing down account numbers and previewing people before they joined the Feds but eventually I was given more. I became a department head; I became a leader. It didn’t take me years to prove myself, it only took me a few weeks before they let me take the reins and gave me my own project to run.
Plenty of you might think a department head is too much for a new player with only weeks of experience but there’s another point I’d like to make. We teach our players, whatever they need to succeed. We’ve always had the depth in our experienced roster to raise anyone that’s willing to the top and any fed that’s ever tried has the opportunity to become something in this game if they’re willing to put the work in.

Only a month or two after I became a leader in the Feds, I eventually got involved in the world of the executive and again the Feds supported me. The Feds gave me the experience I needed to try and become something in the eUS and I did become something. Most of my time there was spent working with the ATO years ago. When the DHS was created and appointed to Jefferson Locke, a pretty old Fed. He brought me along with him and eventually I sunk around 7-8 months of my life watching numbers go up in elections and arguing with people and groups to get them to vote where I wanted. Oddly enough those 7-8 months I spend there was some of the most enjoyable times in my years playing erep.

Though eventually I got burned out of the executive game and that brings me to my last point. The Feds are always there, whenever you get burned out, whenever you might get angry the Federalist party has some of the most supportive and helpful I’ve met. We have the last active base left that can sustain our own community outside of the eUS forums.
Some of you might say we’re just stuck in our old ways and perhaps you might be right but I think it says something great that we still have enough of an active community to sustain it.

That’s all I can think of for now, I’ve probably missed something but I think I’ve managed to portray the best of our party the best that I can. In short the Feds are for new players, new to the game or new to the meta we are the single best and most consistently supportive party of the inexperienced in the eUS. The Feds have, in my opinion the best user base I’ve ever been a part of on the internet. The Feds are the most active party in the eUS and the only party that can reliably sustain our own community at our own location.

So I call on all that read this to vote for the Feds on the 25th and if you aren’t a Fed yet, I ask you to at least consider the change to become one.
