Farewell Canada! I'm returning to India.

“Most of American life consists of driving somewhere and then returning home, wondering why the hell you went.”
-- John Updike
I’ve had a pleasant stay in Canada, but now as I examine my feelings toward the game of eRepublik, I feel it is once again time for a change.
I don’t know if it is the new Dictator Module, but I find myself once again lacking the enthusiasm to play this game for the game’s sake. So that leaves the only reason to play this game being the community that we surround ourselves with.
While I've enjoyed my stay in Canada, thanks to people like Thedillpickl, Klop123 and so many others that I have difficulty remembering, due to my pain-impaired cognition, I find that it just isn’t the same as being among the eIndians which I’ve come to equate with family.
“A nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.”
-- Mahatma Gandhi
So while eIndia and I may never agree on my diplomatic approach to foreign policy in the face of a stronger enemy as a way to make the most efficient use of our resources, due to the current state of the game, I find that that doesn’t matter anymore. It has once again become all about the people there and the culture.
”A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history.”
-- Mahatma Gandhi
It has been a pleasure fighting against those that would aggress against Canada (i.e., Croatia and the Republic of Macedonia) alongside you all on the battlefield. Don’t hesitate to message me during any upcoming Revolutionary Wars as my change of citizenship doesn’t lessen my feelings toward a free Canada and her people.
Now I just need for India to regain one of her regions, so I can request that change in citizenship.

Land of the Great Unwashed?
You can't judge a book by its cover -- yes, big cliche here. Read enough about India and you'll see the wonders that exist there, both currently and in its history.
Welcome back Lysander

When game mechanics permit it. 🙂
The doors of India are always open for you
i hate cumin
Yes, it does take getting used to. I always feel that I use too much in my cooking of Indian cuisine. Don't forget Cardamom, Coriander, Cloves, Fenugreek, Peppercorn, Turmeric, Asafoetida (Hing), Ginger and a multitude of other herbs/spices.
yea cumin seeds are only for a hint of flavouring...subtle aftertaste. Excess is no good!
Here's anothe rinteresting (and pretty simple) recipe for you to try out - (if you can find the flattened rice called as "poha") Its a breakfast staple along the West coast and goes well with Ginger tea.

Im sure there would also be videos on youtube for this 🙂
o7 hearty welcome
Once a family, always one 🙂 though we have some interesting thread discussions, still its probably what we have gotten used to all these months! You know we always had you on threads despite you being in Canada 🙂
Its always a pleasure! o7

The last pic ...
Oh, sorry. Welcome back Lysander o/
Take me with you. It can't get any worse can it?
Canada is a wonderful community. Consider the friends you make here as valuable. Why leave, for what is an unknown to you? A change in CS should never be made lightly as it is something to be valued. If you plan on leaving, try to get familiar with the community you intend to join to make sure it is a right fit for you.
I do hope you enjoyed your stay here in crazy eCanada! You'll be missed, stay in touch!
