Farewell Beloved Party

"So long, farewell, I hate to say adieu."
I joined the Associates of General Wellness long long ago when the party first started about 2 years ago. It was the first party I ever joined thanks to Travis Granger. Since that time the party has changed names a few times, went through a couple PTOs, went through a wipe, and had to get remade once or twice. But I stuck with it, thinking we would make it through anything. That was not to be the case.
The downfall of my beloved party has come at the hands of inactivity, immaturity, and real lives. We've lost many a good men to real life situations. We lost Tenshibo to the immaturity of twilight. And even while we had great members that spoke out in the community, we always had a problem with be so damn lazy with the party. That problem is confounded upon by the failure of admin to make party politics mean something. Also, this is a small country and that furthers the problem even more. There simply is nothing to do, nowhere to go, and no reason to be the bigger better party that hogs ads on election day (oh wait, there are no more ads #adminfail)
I will stop with my flowing conscious writing and wish the Nationalist Union good luck. I know I said the party should dissolve, but that is unreasonable. You would need everyone in the party to leave and that just is not going to happen. So someone will have to stay with the party. Maybe another someone will join that first someone to keep each other sane and have a good friendship. Maybe there'll be a snowball effect and the party will once again be meaningful and active. I hope this is true. Until that day, I must be off. My time as PP is numbered, and it's my moment to take flight in a new direction.
Good bye AGW/NPSA/CEP/NU. I wish you good luck, and do not waste time awaiting my return. It will come in due time. Remember the state in the beginning: leadership, activity, honesty. Just do it.

Meh, didn't really care for the jab at Twilight. She did a lot for the party, and I don't think a prank should tarnish her reputation regardless of how it was perceived.
Anyway, I don't think our problem was laziness alone. It was also a lack of direction. I remember back when we were AGW trying to come up with a platform, but none of us had enough experience to truly judge, so we ended up scrambling like headless chickens. I remember I was entrusted with writing the platform, then got indignant because I had no idea what to write about since I was probably the least politically experienced person in the party. It's a shame that this never changed even through NPSA. Matt Beta tried to take charge, coming up with our name and logo. Then he got cold feet and ran. We did what we could until we got PTO'd then un-PTO'd and made CEP. We had direction at first, but that ended quickly. Isaac Ether came in, ran for PP and looked very promising. Then he suddenly disappeared and still hasn't come back. Then we twiddled our thumbs until Twilight came in. She actually managed to give us some attention, but she brought us Lev who gave us great direction, even renaming the party. Then they both left.
Point fingers all you want, but if the party were that good, Tenshibo would have stuck with it. Stryke and Seisan are hardly active anymore, especially not in party politics. I left because I got bored. Twilight left because she wanted to join me in PSU. Lev left to help out in eIsrael (came back and joined Twilight and I in PSU), Samgibz is apparently still taking exams. Mr. Wet left the party for IA waaaaaaay back. So all that's left is you (Champ), nick jones, Dominik Rohkea, and Lord Gunrae. I don't think any of you had the proper capabilities to keep the party going.
I'm not really saddened by this ending. I'm actually surprised it held out this long, but then, how much of that was us dragging it around? We were nurturing a withering tree Travis had planted. It was fun.

Nick Jones left a long time ago thank god.
No idea why I put Nick in there. But he actually left because neither you nor Dom would remove access from NU despite my not being a member. And he left your term, not a long time ago.

I don't care for the PSU's policies so I shall stick with OOPS for the time being.
