eChina CP candidate speech for VLKR (Aug 2014)

Dear all, this is VLKR (a.k.a. “the ambassador of peace” for some reasons…). I’ve been playing eRepublik for almost 5 years, having ups and downs with my peers in our eCountry, and also have been applied for the country presidential (CP) election for numerous times before but in vain. This time, I am serious and would like to have a few words for my eChina CP election.

As a veteran in eChina (relatively), I see people keep on joining and leaving. Familiar faces were phasing out, while new faces were becoming familiar. We have had tough time before and leaving Jiangsu as our only holy home soil; we have had extended our reign from North Korea to Sweden. I am lucky enough to meet you with similar views or conflicts, for whatever reasons we are here together now.

The game may not be as good as the old days of V1 and V2, and not to mention the crappy economic module. However, we have prevailed and evolved to enjoy the community here, not just the game. We are group of different people, from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and overseas. We are not all ethnic Chinese but we love eChina, and we are fighting fiercely to mark our names in eChina’s history. We don’t need to conquer the world to prove ourselves, but we come here to enjoy every moment that we have in eRepublik. “We” are the key factor, not the “game”.

While my name is not as frequently mentioned as previous CPs, and to be honest I cannot be as active as a robot to monitor the game 24 hours a day, but I’ll try my best to squeeze my time to serve you guys here.

Last but not least, the outcome of a game is important, but the process is even more critical. I will do my best to regularly gathering public’s view of all players through my newspaper, choose to war or choose to peace, you decide. This may not work very well but let’s give it a try, we need to do some experiments here.
