DEAD HEAT: Scrabman and Kyle321n Even in Latest Presidential Poll

Results of a recently conducted Fair Dealer political poll show a shocking break in June's electoral polling - with the Presidential election just 3 days away, Kyle321n and President Scrabman are deadlocked at 46% each, with only 8% undecided!
Kyle321n, a perennial candidate for President, currently outnumbers President Scrabman in party backings, and appears to have benefited greatly from the reduced political field. Recent polling has shown Kyle321n making up the bulk of a 10-point deficit, thanks in part to a marked decline in approval over Scrabman's recent foreign policy decisions.
Polling trends were confirmed in an unaffiliated poll conducted by American Poll Service, which also showed Scrabman forfeiting a large lead on foreign policy issues.
It now appears likely that Scrabman has a race on his hands, and recent contacts to the Scrabman campaign office were not answered. Similarly, Kyle321n's campaign has been tight-lipped for fear of blowing what appears to be a blazing last-minute comeback.
In last month's election, Scrabman achieved nearly 60% of the vote to just 19% for Kyle321n, but that poll was divided among 7 candidates. June 5th's two man race will be the first significant competition Scrabman has faced in two runs for president, and threatens to squash Scrabman's unprecedented third-term run.
This poll was conducted from May 31 - June 2. Sample size (N=40), broken down by current Congressional representation from a sample of the Top 500 eAmericans per eRepublik rankings. All citizen information is kept confidential, and results are saved by identifiers other than citizen name or ID.

Out of the polling population, do we know how many were USWP?
A few comments that got a chuckle out of me:
"a perennial candidate for President": I've only ran once. 😉
I lost pretty bad and figured that would happen. I was a VP candidate once before though!
"Similarly, Kyle321n's campaign has been tight-lipped for fear of blowing what appears to be a blazing last-minute comeback." I didn't know it was a comeback... ("DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK!" -LL Cool J 😛) But I've been answering all of my PMs the last few days and am currently answering questions from 3 separate interviews.
Interesting, FYI my poll service is called APS (American Poll Service), accuTrack is just the name of of my particular type of poll.
Thanks Erik.
Go Kyle321n. New leadership is needed.
Well im sure im one of that 8%, can not remember if i took part in it or not XD
My vote will go to Scrabman. I'm a n00b and he seems to make sense to my limited understanding. Maybe more experienced players have more reason to dissent.
Although I must commend you on your work, I appreciate the hard work your put in the poll. I think their is a major problem with your polling design. You have, in my opinion, a significant sample bias in the selection of the people you contacted for the survey:
"Top 500 eAmericans per eRepublik rankings."
I believe that sampling only top 500 eAmericans would significantly bias the outcomes, since those in the top 500 tend to be more actively engaged in politics, use external forums, etc, then those who are not. Those in the top 500 would have a skewed political view of this virtual reality compared to the average voter.
Therefore, your polling methods DO NOT reflect the actual voting pool and your results should NOT be considered accurate.
Discordian: I think that Nick did a good job, but the poll reflects the views of a select few. I know many experience players who think that Scrab has done a wonderful job as President. He is thoughtful, listens to multiple sides of the argument, delegates when necessary, and spends a lot of time in game. Furthermore, he has shown he is an effective and capable leader.
I believe Kyle is a great guy, and has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, I believe we cannot afford a change in leadership, and the time it will take for Kyle to get situated. The volatility of the international stage requires an in depth knowledge of current events, and their subtleties, that only those who have intimately partook in such negotiations could have. Scrab has that experience, since he has been working closely with many nations over the last few weeks to resolve the current crisis.
Unfortunately, Kyle and those he will select to work with him if he is elected, are not privy to such details and could not effectively manage such negotiations until he and his team are up to speed. We cannot afford a learning period at this point in time, the international stage is too volatile and changing on a daily basis. We need someone who is keyed into the subtleties of the international stage, hence I support Scrab to lead us during these trying times.
Tarik, in drawing on the Top 500 (it's a typo - Top 600) ranked players, I am not asking all 600. I am drawing a representative sample from that 600 of 40, divided in the best way I know how between the parties, unaffiliated members, and soldiers who are out of the country and may return to vote.
The problem of two-clickers is present, I acknowledge, but given the circumstances, I am working as best I can to develop a new model for my polling that takes into account two clickers.
There are more than two candidates.
You're feeling Nader's pain, Robert..

It's funny, because if you post a noob like thing on the forums many scrab supporters are likely to flame you blind.
