Day 106: The Calm Before The Storm

Day 706, 19:16 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

The U.S. is only one region shy of achieving total liberation, however things appear peaceful today. PEACE is just about done with their offensives for the most part. This is likely due to the fact they can't attack any American or Canadian regions without activating a ton of MPPs, with no MPPs of their own to back them up this would result in almost certain defeat. On the other hand the U.S. still needs to retake the high oil region of Alaska, but because Hungary won't attack the U.S. there is no real rush for the U.S. to take back the region. The battle for Alaska will be another huge one as the wall will be almost twice as large as the wall in Nunavut and it will be Hungary's last chance to hold onto a North American region.

It could be some time before we see this battle though as the U.S. military would probably like some time to recover from the past two heavy tanking operations in Manitoba and Nunavut. The U.S. also needs to hand Nunavut back to Canada in order for Canada to achieve total liberation. Manitoba and Saskatchewan have already made their way back to Canadian hands thanks to resistance wars launched by both the U.S. and Hungary, however the resistance in Nunavut is likely lagging behind a bit due to the current cost of starting a resistance war in the region. The cost should drop once more Hungarians leave the region.

That's about it for today people, enjoy these last few days. At the current rate it won't be long before the U.S. will only be able to fight in training wars.
