Oyez, Oyez,

Seeing everyone running around with bacon and/or beer, I decided it was time to get my congress presentation published too 🙂

I'm the ILP candidate with Winston Hope Smith in Shannon where I hope to be elected next Saturday. What will I try to bring in eEire? Ethics. Yea, because I felt ethics have lacked a lot in the last month dramas.

I know I am not well known in eIreland but many of you sure have seen my work: I've spent quite a few hours on the very-out-of-date wiki which is now sexy and updated. My goal for next month is to finish my Food Commune project that would give food to the employees but also to the poor citizens of eIreland. I also started working in a short story competition as a member of the MoC.

So, my goals for the congress:

1. Encourage new players to get involved in the society and politics of the eCountry instead of becoming "two-clickers" and leaving after a few days/week;
2. Get a healthy media scene filled with critical articles, intelligent entertainment and contests to increase citizen participation;
3. Help poor players with politics destined to facilitate their development.

How can you encourage the newbies to be active citizens?

First, by not considering them newbies, but players with the same worth then older players. Second, by having a brief tutorial video linked in message to new citizen where they can see the advantages of being active. This measure can come with many tutorials and incentives (state funds for new players that get involved to help them progress faster into the game) Does it answer your question micutzu?

On a more serious note. Yes its very important to work with the young. Not only do they need some financial support but also need guidance and cheers.
Tutorials should be up at all times. Yes its tedious for the older players but it only takes a sec to cast a vote and we would be helping a new player with information(if they care to read it ofc)
