The Things We'll Do
PP elections. Four days. Holy moly I am hype. If you don't know, I am gonna be the Vice President of the SFP if Jimmy gets elected. With that, I'll help out Jimmy with a lot of his responsibilities, but I wanted to talk about some programs I'm also gonna spearhead. Hopefully this will give you another reason to vote for Jimmy.


The Internationale
So, one of the things I'm going to be working on is an international left wing party movement. The idea is for us all to gather in a Discord channel and talk about strategy and support each other's articles. Perhaps, if this endeavor works out, we might coordinate with Pacifica for some cool Communist mass attacks! To make sure this won't have any strange political consequences, we've made sure only our allies are in the group. This work requires me to reach out to as many leaders as I can, many of whom don't know English. The experience is exhilarating as I try to translate into as many languages as I can. That and bug them to make a Discord. I'd like to note that this idea was originally made by Salty when he first became PP. Many of our parties aren't at the top, so it's important for us all to band together to try to improve our efforts.


Reviving the Writer's Guild
This is more of Jimmy's thing, but hey we're all in this together. Maxwell Hans, another member of Jimmy's cabinet, is restarting the Writer's Guild. The Writer's Guild is an old part of the SFP. Essentially, it's a community for people writing under the SFP to share their work before publishing. This work can be criticized before showing up on the charts, and people can help with BBCode and the like. It's a great initiative to strengthen the SFP Official Media (SFPOM). Many of us here love media, as the SFP was consistently kicking butt on the module when I was on, so we expect good work to be done here.


Retaining Our Members
Just as important as getting new members is keeping activity high. Let's be honest, eRepublik isn't a really active game to keep someone on. While wars are occasionally fun, it's the community we stay here for. If Jimmy gets elected and I'm on the monetary council, one of the things I hope to do is start a game night every Thursday. The idea here is for a stress-free time to just hang out as a community, plus it'll be streamed on Beam. The other thing here is that we'll give prizes of food, weapons, or straight cash for joining. I mean, you get cash for playing vidya, I don't see what the issue here is. Obviously I'm gonna talk to Frank and Hoss about the budget and how much will be distributed, however according to the numbers I've seen, it should be fine.
