CPF: Out of Touch or Enemy Sympathizers?

As you can see, Chance Harrison, CPF candidate for CP belongs to an enemy MU. While we all love the Irish how many of us would support their allies over our own? Canada is not a member of Aurora. Why then is the CPF candidate a member of an Aurora MU, especially considering their party has an MU for party members?
Nominating a member of an enemy alliance MU for CP shows that either CPF is out of touch, or they do not care about supporting our friends and allies. We are at a crucial time in foreign affairs, and we can not afford to allow an enemy sympathizer to be elected Canadian CP. I would therefore ask that all CPF members vote for a Candidate who will not cause problems with our allies.

Being a foreign affairs advisor during a possible alliance shift is a far cry from CP.
You also have to consider the possibility that if he is elected CP, he'll decide to join a Canadian MU. Also, you have to remember that the MU one belongs to is only pertinent for 25 hits per day -- to earn our daily EB. 25 hits per day is not too much to donate to Ireland, whom Canada has maintained a friendship with regardless of alliance.
He's not donating it to Ireland. Ireland is not involved in any wars, so he's donating it to Aurora. Aurora is our enemy. Didn't some Aurora members recently start wars with Canada?

LOL Rylde's campaign was based on handing FA entirely over to you. You picked Mr. Croata for your team. Rylde intentionally distanced himself from that entire aspect of government, since it was a point of attack from the CPF hippies, and put you in charge. He didn't pick your team. You were entrusted with that task, and one of the guys you chose was the Aurora SG.

The War Machine thread - a cause to which both players contributed. That's the Rylde version of UNICEF, and Gnilraps and Don Croata put their pennies in his box, so they had a say on how the money was spent.

If allies don't understand relations between Canada and Ireland then maybe they aren't the best choice. As long as Chance don't fight against Asteria I don't see him being a member of IA as an issue.
Those players who understand that Daily Orders are not the "be all and end all" of MUs and understand that the MU one belongs to is a way of maintaining contact with friends in the game -- being part of a Community -- won't have an issue. Those who don't understand need to understand that Plato's crap game mechanics alone aren't enough to keep people playing this game and need to be reeducated.

No, he belongs to an MU based in Ireland out of his desire to associate with players from that eCountry -- his association with those players having nothing to do with his allegiance to Canada.

Bryan, I'm the only candidate actually campaigning for the job. The other candidates have either phoned in their candidacy or hahaven't bothered to shownup at all. I'm poking CPF with a stick because as Canada's largest party you guys have a responsibility to act like Canada's top party. You guys only seem to show up if poked with a stick.
I personally don't care about Chance, I care about having an actual campaign and election based on ideas. Not that anyone in Canada votes because of such things, but it's still nice to pretend campaigns actually matter.
