Has anyone wondered, what are we paying for?

I have been watching the law proposals for sometime, and have realised, that there is no newspaper explaining what they are for.
The public injects a good amount of money into the country, and for our money, we receive little value; no explanation on what it is used for, no major eNational assistance.
We have slowly but surely concealed the government in a haven of cash, with no ties to its population.

I understand that sometimes the expenses are for military operations, but wouldn't it just be more "responsible" of the government to just simple say it was used to buy weapons for a military operation, as saying this; means that no information has been realised that will damage the military units abilities.

I have also been reading up on, who is transparent to the population of a county, and to be honest in all respects. Being a MP for a county, is just a way to get to vote for money transfers, alliance agreements, not to provide a more stable, economic, military advancement enviroment for the population of a county.
This goes back to the non-transparent government, it seems that the people within "power", don't want to risk saying what is happening, why, who knows. It may be to hide that the expenses have no actual reason to be performed, or that no one knows the actual reason they are proposed.
Civilians have no access to the debate area's, and the average civilian will not go through the forums to find what the "donation" was actually for, the government is supposed to display easy accessible information to the public, with no bias or inaccurate data.

Yet we see more of inaccurate data everyday in the eWorld, as I went over to eFrance recently to assist in a RW (fighting for eFrance) and saw something I will not forget;

eUK; 740.66 GOLD , 407926.90 GBP (correct to 22/08/2011, 11.22)
eFrance; 1749.61 GOLD , 1067712.74 FRF (correct to 22/08/2011, 11.22)

How does it make the eUK public feel that a eNation so unstable has successful pulled together 2.5x what the whole eUK has.
Yes we are stronger in a military aspect (are we really though?)
We may be able to beat them in a fight, but will we really be able to if we step over the line and get ourselves in a massive mess, eFrance and eGermany (of which I am personally willing to fight for) have at least 3x what the eUK has in economic wealth.
Is this what the eUK has become, a slight military "power", a middle class economy, and a falling "superpower", I am not putting the eNation down, I am simply out lining the fact that; the eUK is facing a major decline, of which could end our international influence and put us on the waiting bench for an ally with will take us under their wings for protection, and if that ever happened, I will probably bet a few thousand GBP, that if a better alliance came along we would ditch the one who spent time and money protection us, and kick them in the gutter.

To sum the current state of the eUK compared to other eNations;
-Seen as untrustworthy.
-A middle class economy.
-A falling "superpower"
-GBP is struggling.
-falling and failing economy.

These are facts correct to 22/08/2011, 11.22.

I donate all I can spare into the country, and have decreased my government donations, because I don't know what my GBP is being spent on, I know I should donate more, but who in their right mind would give money to something which wont tell you what its for?
This is a petition get the eUK government to become more transparent, please mail me via the (in-game) mailing system and I will add you to the petition (petition will be mailed 26/08/2011, and has to at least get 50 civilians to sign up for it, to be of any use)
