Chat with the Prime Minister #3

Day 2,261, 01:55 Published in Australia Ireland by Skraus Khan

This is the third ''Chat with the Prime Minister'' with Mickskitz, so let's start:

1 - Can you tell us with which Governments are you talking to about a future Alliance?

We have been keeping our options open, and have been talking with many nations (really anyone who will talk with us), including; UK, Serbia, Argentina, China, Turkey. We have been trying to establish what will be the best course of action as to who we ally with and no final decisions have been made yet.

2 - Some people are talking about a coalition with South American countries, if that happen and Argentina are Allies of Chile, what will happen with us?

Great question. It seems highly likely that Argentina and Chile will be allies in the next alliance, which will likely also include Serbia, Indonesia, (Greece I think), and NZ to name a few. This puts us in an interesting position. While many people are not keen to join an alliance with Chile (including me), we are a little stuck because if we choose to go for the other alliance, we would have no regional support except for possibly Brazil, and we would likely remain wiped for some time yet, due to the Empire module being introduced, it is hard and not very attractive for nations to AS a location they can’t protect regionally regardless of their desire to help us. On the flip side, if we were to consider going into that alliance, we would have so much regional support, there would be minimal chance of being wiped, I expect we would be able to get our regions back quickly, and all of them, and be effectively safe for the duration of the alliance. The big negative of joining the alliance is turning our backs on nations we have good relationships with, who have supported us in many ways in the past, and joining an alliance with Indo and Chile which certainly wouldn’t be popular for our citizens. As I said in question 1, no decisions have been made yet and I’ll keep everyone informed.

3 - In the last ''chat'' you told us about a PTO threat that is happening here in Australia, Do you have any idea to deal with it?

Infowar is heading up the taskforce which includes many senior members of the Australia community, for dealing with this threat and has been working tirelessly on this issue. It is not a simple matter, as Multi’s which participate in a PTO generally are controlled by a single or a small group of people over a very short space of time. If we are to combat this, we need to get an active PP group and lots of citizens willing to move parties at a moment’s notice. While the threat remains, I think it is best to remain wiped to prevent them getting any real power. We are also working out a list of who all the Multi’s we believe are, so that PP’s can quickly identify them so we know when threats arise.

4 - We are ending the third week of your Government, are you thinking about to run again for CP or are you thinking to support someone?

I am able to continue on as CP and will run again. No one else has nominated themselves or written an article displaying the intention to run so there is no one to really support. If someone came forward who I thought would be able to do more than I can for our nation then I might reconsider running, but at this time I plan to run. This will be the last term that I can run though, as during March Uni resumes and with that, my business and other RL interests I won’t be able to be as active as I am.

5 - Can you summarize what your Government has done in this last week for the good of our Country?

Working on the PTO issue as well as keeping in touch regarding the alliance has been the main thing boring as that sounds. James Rellori ran a successful article comp, which once again I didn’t win (seems rigged, I know). Not very exciting stuff I know, but important, and I would like to thank once again all the members of my cabinet for doing such a good job.

So, to finish the interview, do you have anything to say?

Nothing to add at this point. Thanks for the time. People, feel free to add your own questions below, and I am happy to answer them.
