Chaos at Home and CTRL of the World

Domestic Updates

As we can all see, Henry Arundel (Pfeiffer) has won the CP race and beaten Hanibal LA by a margin of over 200 votes. Good news, the United States will be run by an American the next month. Bad news, American Freedom Alliance isn’t going anywhere. This whole process may have to be re-hashed next month, but if that is the case, hopefully we can perfect the process to ensure a more open and diverse selection. That being said, we must dedicate this month to strengthening our national organization at the top, and strengthening our parties at bottom. This means new member activity, improving frameworks to shorten the transition processes, and ensuring that each party has a functioning base to hold fair and accountable primary elections to select leaders. Our nation is still not fully stable and there is a lot of work to be done. I hope to see good things from the Pfeiffer/fingerguns administration, and great things from our nation's parties.

Unfortunately, there are still several skeptics of national policy and supporters of AFA blinded by propaganda. New players are further confused by both sides calling each other terrorists, issuing claims that the other side will destroy us, and that legitimacy exists in only one side. Worse, you have to pick a side and follow this mantra (I do legitimately believe the leadership of AFA will implement destructive policies and actions that will lead to the USA’s downfall). Both sides claim they have evidence, but do they really? Let’s look at the facts:

1. Our treasury is still intact (RGR often said Pfeiffer has done this before and would do it again).

2. Our congressmen do not propose illegitimate proposals including unwarranted impeachment, joke donations, or unfocused natural enemies. AFA members have done this several times, and that wastes our time and hurts our ability to fund and administer our programs and military.

3. Those who lose do not appoint themselves in charge. We already have the IES which deals with immigration requests, and has done so for a very long time. Disagreeing with national policy does not give you a right to break with the established process.

International Updates

The United States continues to press forward in its war against FYROM, and we have successfully beaten them back into Italy. Part of this is also due to the fact that FYROM refuses to take a stand against us and keeps essentially retreating from campaigns. Hopefully this conflict will see FYROM pushed out of Italy and Albania and back to its original form. Overall, it appears CTRL forces and the allies of the US are doing quite well against their opposition. There is still some controversy with CTRL, as most recently Poland renewed its MPP with Hungary. The United States still considers Hungary an enemy, and this raises questions about how CTRL will resolve these differences. I still have faith in the new direction this alliance is taking us, and I hope this makes the game less Balkan-centric.

Also of interest, Russia’s president has been impeached. The United States currently maintains an MPP with Russia, and it is uncertain how this will affect our relationship. According to the article, Russia’s military continues to back the elected president, but since congress impeached him, it will be interesting to see how this impacts their funding. Despite whatever relationship we have with Russia, I do hope they get their house in order. Instability anywhere could change global power structures.

Again, look forward to hearing from me in upcoming editions of the WHPR.
