Changing of the Guard In the CVP and My 2 Click Comma

Tomorrow will be my last full day as CVP president with Cromstar taking over on the 16th. It's been a great month and a half and although we didn't quite meet our congressional election goal we surpassed our recruitment goal of 575 even with many people having to be deployed in the last week of my term. With Cromstar as party president the party can only grow stronger. In order to be a successful party president one must have a name that's well known, be active, and have the experience to know what they are doing. In the past the CVP has had trouble finding people who matched these requirements however Cromstar meets them all quite well.

With a steady recruitment system in place and our members gearing up to make big gains in congress this month the party looks to be returning to glory, however despite these successes there is still some work to do. While we are on the right track the memory of Ajay Bruno is still hurting our reputation, while this should die off in time I can't forget how many PMs I received in the last congress election warning me that _____ was an a ajay multi. Things have been getting better since Ajay was banned but we need to make sure our newer players realize that RL does not equate to erepublik and to not make outrageous claims about another politicians that turn out to be false. Our party has a large amount of new players so it is understandable that they would act this way, however we need to get better and have more of our members grow respectable reputations. We also need to recruit more aggressively, yes we have increased the parties rate of growth over the past month with a little extra work from party members I believe we could take back the #3 spot next month. The number one thing people can to do help out the party next month is to just step up, get involved with the party, get in our chat room and ask around and see if there is anything you can do to help the party. If we can just get more people to become active in the party we can achieve great things.

The past few days I haven't been able to get on as much as I hoped, although I made sure to get on enough to maintain the party. Now that I don't have to worry about the party to much I will be going into a slight two click comma for a week. I say slight because even though I won't be on much I will be releasing articles that I have written but have yet to release (including my summary of the 100 days war) . This would be a good time for me to take a break since it will be one of the rare times when I don't have any real responsibility. I will likely return to erep before the next congress elections though.
