Uno de los proyectos en los que he participado es Youth4Europe, cuyo objetivo es que distintos grupos de jóvenes desarrollen propuestas de modificación de la legislación europea en tres ámbitos: comunicación, educación/trabajo, y medio ambiente. Es un extenso y ambicioso proyecto, que dura dos años, y en el cual las propuestas que reciban más votos serán discutidas con miembros del Parlamento Europeo en Bruselas en el año 2020.
One of the projects I have participated in is Youth4Europe, whose objective is that different groups of young people will develop proposals for modificating the European legislation in three areas: communication, education/job, and environment. It is an extensive and ambitious project, which lasts two years, and in which the proposals that receive the most votes will be discussed with members of the European Parliament in Brussels in the year 2020.
Fue así que participé en abril en el intercambio sobre educación/trabajo que tuvo lugar en Italia, en el cual con otros dos participantes húngaros y dos más alemanes formamos el MEME Team: Movement for an European Monetary Equity. Básicamente, lo que estamos proponiendo es la creación de una legislación para la introducción de un salario mínimo europeo en aquellos países cuyo salario medio está por debajo de la media europea. Este salario mínimo debería ser el 60% del salario medio del país en cuestión, y el dinero necesario para esta subida salarial sería aportado por la Comisión Europea.

Basically, what we are proposing is the creation of legislation for the introduction of a European minimum wage in those countries whose average salary is below the European average. Te entiendo. Durante tiempo he sido euroescéptico, y lógicamente no pierdo de vista todo el daño que ha hecho la Europa de los mercados y la Troika...pero también hay otra Europa, hay otras oportunidades, y realmente no creo que la ola de odio que se está esparciendo por Europa se resuelva tirando abajo la unión y volviendo a plantar fronteras en todos lados...Yo también creo que esta Europa no es lo que debería ser, pero sí que creo que, en el contexto global actual, es más interesante intentar cambiarla desde dentro que salirse simplemente y volver al unilateralismo...
Y los británicos ya se están tirando de los pelos...además que la crítica que llevó al Brexit no era por una demanda de una Europa más social, más bien al contrario...no hay más que ver quiénes están aupando los movimientos euroescépticos en todo el continente...
Con todas mis discrepancias con la UE y sobre todo con la mierda que ha hecho en la crisis, creo que reventarla sería un paso drástico que daría lugar a un mundo bastante más peligroso...No sé, entiendo el escepticismo, pero por mi parte creo más que refundar las fronteras nos deberíamos cargar todas en el mundo...La Europa de los mercados es una mierda, sí, pero no me resigno a pensar que la unión ciudadana puede dar lugar a otra Europa.

Well, there's no rules on how to get the votes, each group uses their own tools...there are some IG influencers that are making their followers vote, and that's fair, so I don't see why it's not fair to use the influence I can have here..Is hard to spread these kind of projects, and it's even harder to encourage people to vote for them..I agree that it's not the ideal solution, but, to be honest, I strongly believe that our proposal would improve the life of the citizens of the European Union and that's why I'm willing to try to get as much votes as possible using all the tools I have available. This is just another one of the many ways I'm trying to get votes.
You don't use your influence, you buy votes for money.
There's people who will vote it because they know me and they trust me. There's people who will not vote it because they know me and they don't trust me. And there's people who gives a fuck about anything else but the game and wouldn't vote if I don't give them no incentive for doing it. I've been playing this game for too long to know that if you don't give incentives to the people they will not move their ass out of the game.
But I repeat it man, I know it's not the ideal way, but I believe in my proposal and I'll do all I can for getting it aproved.
In real democracies you end up in jail if you buy votes for money. There are good reasons for why it is against the law.
If you want to use money to get more votes, buy stocks, not people.

En una región con movilidad laboral no me parece que la regulación de los salarios deba constituirse como una carga mas para los estados .
Voto este articulo pero como no soy Europeo no me parece bien que pueda participar en la votación de la propuesta
Uno de los supuestos objetivos de la Unión Europea es garantizar una cierta equidad entre los diferentes miembros. Dadas las diferentes condiciones salariales presentes en los diversos Estados la situación actual está dando lugar a una fuerte corriente migratoria cara a los países más desarrollados y con mejores condiciones económicas, lo cual implica una fuga de cerebros para los países de los cuales emigran. Si tales condiciones continúan, la brecha entre los países más desarrollados y los menos se seguirán aumentando. Todos los países miembros han firmado un compromiso de solidaridad por el cual los más desarrollados deben aportar bienes económicos para el desarrollo de los menos. En este sentido, esta propuesta encaja totalmente dentro de dicho compromiso y dentro de los objetivos de la UE. Es legítimo que desde un punto de vista ideológico te parezca que no debe haber una regulación salarial -cosa con la que no concuerdo-, pero los compromisos que se han firmado deben ser respetados, y para ello hay que introducir regulaciones.
Por otro lado, yo no soy europeo, soy uruguayo, pero vivo en Europa, como muchos compatriotas tuyos..Uno nunca sabe qué le deparará el futuro, nunca se sabe si vos o tus hijos van a tener que emigrar acá. En este sentido, ¿por qué no ayudar al desarrollo de otros Estados? Si a mí me pidieran votar por una propuesta que ayuda al desarrollo de un Estado asiático X probablemente lo haría si considero que la propuesta es idónea. Por otro lado, de sobra es sabido que la UE sirve muchas veces de "faro" ideológico al cual Estados de todo el mundo miran para desarrollar sus propias legislaciones, por lo cual algo que, en principio, no debería afectarte, puede acabar haciéndolo si tu país decide replicarlo. En un mundo globalizado como el que tenemos hoy en día es muy difícil decir "esto no va conmigo". Todo va con todos.
