A Week of Massive Changes

Day 1,945, 19:14 Published in USA USA by Clint Carmel

This has been a week of massive changes. The first and most obvious change is that my articles are not being exclusively published here, which is why you haven't seen any in a few days. I will have to figure out the logistics and see about re-printing some of the articles here, but much of my stuff is now going into various Federalist Party feeds or is being put up at the Federalist Party forum. (http://fedparty.forumotion.com/)

I did have one article all set to go about how I had joined the Federalist Party because I was in Easy Company (EZC) but the timing of the article had been set for when Fingerguns took over the Federalist Party this month... and that was the exact moment that EZC decided they'd rather be working for .. well, I don't know. They haven't shared any goals or reasons with me. I'm not actually sure what is going on, or why it is going on.

I've looked over at the Activity and Cannon Clockers and a few other military units (MUs) in case I feel like I need to pick a side. Not that anyone is asking that such a choice be made: so far things seem-- well not amicable, but certainly cordial. Many of the Fed Leadership are still in EZC, and the timing of this so closely after Seal Team 6 (ST6) decided to do their own thing as well means that there is a fundamental sea change going on in the game. Guys who spent years on the ground fighting for one alliance don't just wake up and forgive old grudges just because someone in Washington (or Florida) tells them to. Being new, I can see this shift for what it is, but of course, being new, I lack the perspective to know if this is for better or for worse.

Also, I personally find it boring to go "yeah, add influence" 25 times. So I don't really care much about the combat module. I do want a mercenary module but I can't figure out how to pay for the travel costs since the trip to go grab even a single BH for a non-US-ally would pretty much wipe out my entire savings, being that I have no cash and no reliable way to make any. So that kind of kills any interest I have in such things.

It's a good thing I am enjoying politics. I like being a Congressman, and I like the Federalist Party. (Well, I like all 57 of them but I prefer the ideology behind the Federalist Party the most.) Most people are familiar with the top 10 parties-- they are the ones you can see, after all-- but some of the others are growing rapidly. I predict the Progressive Party of Mercurius100 will hit the top 10 sometime this year, perhaps even in the next 6 months. You heard it hear first.
