Interview to Don_Croata. Playing eR since 2009. Two times Croatian MoFA, 4 Times eIrish CP

-USA is the best allied of eCroatia ? or Albania maybe?

Well that's a hard question.. Bosnia and Albania has been our long time allies who never let us walk alone, USA was there most of time and it's probably the biggest country we really do love, so I'd say all three of them Plus Ireland 🙂

-Why Imperium failed? was a good idea for croatia?

Because the countries from TWO who supposed to join Imperium didn't had courage to jeopardize their current situation (10/10). Governments wanted it but Polish congress didn't.

-Could have been possible a kind of agreement between Cro+Albania+Bosnia and to get a better coordination? what failed?

We don't believe CoT have any potential to be a good rival to TWO, that is the reason we're against joining CoT from the beginning and I doubt that would change. CoT haven't done much to convince us it would be a good choice

-What could have done CoT to convince to Croatia?

Good will from both sides from start, honest friendship. Some countries from CoT already done that, such as Chile and Mexico for example. We'd give our best for Chile and Mexico any time.

-Bulgaria you mean? It is a problem Bulgaria for Croatia?

For a part of our population yeah.

- Why? RL issues? or ER stuffs?

eR only, in real life I think most of us actually like Bulgaria.

- And Bulgaria has been the main obstacle? What about Indo in example?

Not only Bulgaria, that's just one of the issues. Organisation, way of work, mutual respect, sacrifice etc. Indo's are fine I think.

- So, is not just a problem about members, is about culture of alliance

Yep...mostly. We do have problems with Bulgaria for example, even though I think that could be solved.

- The general opinion is: CoT is dying, TWO rules ER, the game is boring. ¿What think Croatia about future?

It all depends on TWO countries now. Will they find courage to do something or not. I doubt we can do much, we can just entertain them for a while, but that's not fun for us..they won the game

- What country of TWO are closer to Croatia? Spoland?

Well it can't be Serbia...so yeah SPoland

- An Imperium revival maybe?

Kinda yep..

- The point is, ¿Why Spoland should take that risk?

Yep, that's the main issue. We have to bore them as hell to make them do it xD

- Boring as an strategy is an expensive strategy...-11% ER population last month, however Croatia + allies attacked Serbia some two months ago app sucessfully, you broke the empire for a while, then fell hungary and slo, what happened?

True. We maybe seem to be outdamaged a lot, but Croatia have the strenght to organise and pull some victories

- Why not again? what changed?

We could do it again, but it would last for a week only. It's hard to keep their regions especially when they have stronger alliance. Miltary the war looks lost

- And politically is lost too?

I think military is the key factor of politics here in this game. So by losing on military field we're losing on political field too. But you can never be defeated completely politically

- It’s a little frustrating for TWO enemies, dont think so?, even for TWO i guess

Yep, I agree

- EDEN fought harder against two, what was the difference between EDEN and CoT?, balls?

EDEN countries was ready to get wiped for each other. They were ready to use everything they have for their ally. There wasn't difference between you country and your ally country. And of course organisation was perfect.

- However EDEN failed, why?

Because we lost that what I mentioned above by letting Turkey in and losing Bulgaria. I think that was game changer.

- Why CoT could not recruit ex EDEN countries?

CoT acted as a strongest alliance in world when they were allied with TWO. CoT was trolling and it was generally annoying for EDEN countries. We knew strength of CoTWO was in TWO and not in CoT. I think because of that behaviour of CoT more EDEN countries chosen TWO

- Indo, Chile and PY are the last CoT countries with territory and some military capabilities what do you think? are they gonna fight? or are they thinking in future and won’t fight against two?

What could they think in future? Do they wanna join TWO as well? That'd be hilarious. I'm actually waiting for TWO invasion on Croatia and Chile, those are the country they will try to destroy last. We will fight them strongest we can, we don't trade our reputation for a place in an alliance. We never did. I think Chile and Croatia are similar countries and I doubt Chile would do something "bitchy"

-USA es el mejor aliado deCroatia ? o Albania quizás?

Es una pregunta difícil. Bosnia y Albania han sido por largo tiempo aliados quienes nunca nos dejaron solos, USA estuvo ahí la mayor parte del tiempos y es probablemente el país más grande que realmente amamos, yo diría que ellos tres además de Irlanda 🙂

- Porque Imperium falló? era una buena idea para Croacia?

Porque los países de TWO que se suponían se unirían a Imperium no tuvieron el valor de arriesgar su actual situación (10/10). Los gobiernos querían pero el congreso polaco no.

- Pudo ser posible algún tipo de acuerdo entre Cro+Alb+Bos para tener una mejor coordinación? que falló?

No creemos que CoT tenga potencial para ser un buen rival de TWO, esa es la razón por la cual somos contrarios a unirnos a CoT desde un inicio y dudo que eso cambie. CoT tampoco hizo mucho para convencernos de que podría haber sido una buena elección.

- Que podría haber hecho CoT para convencer a Croacia?

Buena voluntad de ambos lados desde el inicio, amistad honesta. Algunos países de CoT ya lo han hecho, como Chile o México, por ejemplo. Daríamos lo mejor por Chile y México en cualquier momento.

- Te refieres a Bulgaria entonces? es un problema Bulgaria para Croacia?

Para una parte de la población sí.

- Porque? asuntos de la vida real o cuestiones de ER?

ER solamente, de hecho en la VR pienso que a la mayoría de nosotros le gusta Bulgaria.

- y Bulgaria ha sido el principal obstáculo? que pasa con Indonesia, por ejemplo?

No solamente Bulgaria, ese es sólo uno de los asuntos. La organización, el modo de trabajo, el respeto mutuo, el sacrificio, etc. Estamos bien con Indonesia, creo.

- Entonces no es un problema sólo sobre los integrantes, sino sobre la cultura de la alianza.

Sí, principalmente. Tenemos problemas con Bulgaria por ejemplo, aunque pensamos que podrían resolverse.

- La opinión generalizada es: CoT está muriendo, TWO domina ER, el juego aburre. ¿Que piensa Croacia sobre el futuro?

Todo depende de los países TWO ahora. Sobre si encontrarán el valor de hacer algo o no. Yo dudo que puedan hacer mucho, solo podemos entretenerlos por un rato, pero eso no es divertido para nosotros...ellos ganaron el juego.

- Que país de TWO sería más cercano a Croacia? Spoland?

Bien, no podría ser Serbia...sí: Spoland

- Una reedición de Imperium tal vez?

Algo así..

- El punto es, ¿porque Spoland tomaría ese riesgo?

Si, ese es el principal tema. Tenemos que aburrirlos como el demonio para hacer que lo hagan XD

- El aburrimiento es una estrategia cara...-11% de población en ER el último mes, sin embargo Croacia+aliados atacaron Serbia unos dos meses atrás app exitosamente, ustedes quebraron el imperio por un rato, luego cayeron Hungría y Eslovenia, ¿Quu pasó?

Cierto. Tal vez parecemos estar sobredañados, pero Croacia tiene la fuerza para organizar y lograr algunas victorias

- Porque no de nuevo? que cambió?

Podríamos hacerlo de nuevo, pero sólo por una semana. Es difícil mantener sus regiones especialmente cuando tienen la alianza más fuerte. Militarmente la guerra parece perdida.

- Políticamente también?

Pienso que lo militar es el factor clave de la política en el juego. Entonces perdiendo en el campo militar, estamos perdiendo en el político también. Pero nunca puedes ser vencido completamente en el campo político.

- Es un poco frustrante para los enemigos de TWO, no lo piensas?, incluso para TWO, supongo

Si, de acuerdo.

- EDEN luchó duro contra TWO, cual era la diferencias entre EDEN y CoT, bolas?

Los países EDEN estaban listos para ser borrados por el otro. Estaban listos para usar todo lo que tenían por su alianza. No había diferencia entre tu país y tu alianza. Y la organización era perfecta, por supuesto.

- Sin embargo, EDEN falló, porque?

Porque perdimos lo que mencioné arriba permitiendo el ingreso de Turquía y perdiendo a Bulgaria. Pienso que eso cambió el juego.

- Porque CoT no pudo reclutar países exEDEN?

CoT actuó como la alianza más fuerte en el mundo cuando ellos estaban aliados con TWO. CoT era troleada y molestada generalmente por países EDEN. Sabíamos que la fortaleza de CoTWO estaba en TWO y no en CoT. Pienso que por eso más países EDEN eligieron a TWO.

- Indo, Chile y Paraguay son los últimos países CoT con territorio y con capacidades militares, piensas que van a luchar? o ellos están pensando en su futuro y no pelearán contra TWO?

Que podrían pensar para el futuro?. Unirse a TWO también? Eso sería jocoso, Estoy de hecho esperando la invasión de TWO de Croacia y Chile, esos son los países que intentarán destruir al final.

Pelearemos con ellos lo mejor que podamos, no negociaremos nuestra reputación por un lugar en una alianza. Nunca lo hicimos. Pienso que Chile y Croacia son países similares y dudo que Chile fuese a hacer algo “putillo”.
