[tl;dr] Details on how to defeat military objectives v2 [8/10]

Day 2,944, 00:01 Published in Germany Denmark by n0s3

Herro guise,

on occasion of the upcoming party, I'd like to recap how objectives are defeated. You might recall I had written an article concerning this topic when we had to defeat objectives last time. As, according to the Latest Updates, the mechanics of deploying and destroying an objective are the same as they were back then, the information contained in my previous article is still valid and should be applicable this weekend as well.

However, the health points of the single objectives for this weekend still need to be found out during the event. Which is, I hope, no big deal - because smee told me we're going to party all year long anyway.
As the mechanism is the same as last time, you can basically skip this article if you have read my old one. Unless you want to refresh your memory or feel bored.

n0s3y's reaction when being told we're going to party all year long. (I always wanted to use that PNG in one of my articles.)

While everyone of us has a certain amount of energy, objectives instead have health points (HP). HP are visualized by a simple health bar below the objective when deployed on the battlefield. Needless to say, once an objective's HP reach zero, it's defeated.

As most players already know, what matters is not how much damage you deal, but how many kills you drop. To use your available energy as efficiently as possible, you should use bazookas (icy or not) and turn on a damage accelerator booster.
Whether you kill an enemy with three hits or one, does not make a difference to the objective - the damage you deal to it will eventually be the same. However, a three-hit kill uses up three times as much energy, thus you will eventually lose valuable time because you need to eat more energy bars - unless the objective has just very few HP (which is possible at the beginning) and/or lots of people from your regiment are fighting as well. To make it as clear as possible:

Scenario A: You kill ten enemies with bazookas, dealing 110,000 influence (= affecting the wall) and 872 HP damage (= affecting the objective).

Scenario B: You kill five enemies with Q7 tanks and need two hits per kill, dealing, let's say, 1,290,000 influence - but just 470 HP damage.

In both cases, you have used up 100 energy, but in scenario A you dealt more damage to the objective.

To a certain point, the HP damage you deal per kill decreases. When it has hit 30% of its initial value, it'll remain at this level for the currently deployed objective (which means, if the same objective is deployed another time because you didn't manage to defeat it, you will start with 100% again). This decrement applies to each player individually, i. e. if player A drops 100 kills and does 30% HP damage, player B still deals 100% if he hasn't dropped any kills during the current deployment yet.

Upon your first kill, you deal 100 HP damage to the objective. Each kill decreases the damage you deal by a bit until your 40th kill. From then on, you'll deal 30 damage per kill.

Still self-explanatory.

Once I know the single objectives' HP, I'll post them here. I'll keep updating this article as information rolls in. (Calculations for objectives #6-8 for 40/50 member regiments can be seen below.)

1st objective (Power Plant): 10,000 HP.
2nd objective (Refinery): 30,000 HP.
3rd objective (Ammo Depot): 90,000 HP (thanks TigerII91).
4th objective (Power Plant): 200,000 HP.
5th objective (Refinery): 400,000 HP.
6th objective (Ammo Depot): 600,000 HP.
7th objective (Power Plant): 800,000 HP (thanks TheKissesOfSound).
8th objective (Refinery): 1,000,000 HP (thanks again, TheKissesOfSound).

As the HP always increased by 200k from #4 on, the next objectives would be:
9th objective: 1,200,000 HP.
10th objective: 1,400,000 HP.
These are, for now, just assumptions, though it seems quite logical. Eventually, if #10 has 1,4kk HP, each member of a regiment with 50 members (=maximum amount of members) would have to drop 896 kills to destroy the last objective. (Thanks TigerII91 for helping me on this one as well.)

Thanks to C T T for this image.

Yeah, that should be it for now. Feel free to comment if you got any questions or the like.
