Dear citizens,

We had already grown and tripled our amount of members, quatripled our congress seats and had even a good supported presidential candidate from our own ranks. We have however proven to endure and exceed the '15 minutes of fame', as we have yet grown again the last couple of weeks, introducing many new members to politics and the Dutch community in general.

This fact combined with our recent name change to 'The Dutch Progressives' means we have to prove ourselves once again by battling bureaucracy and introducing new reforms, which will weaken corruptcy, but will strengthen the efficiency within our eCountry. Vote for a progressive party who comes up with new ideas and seeks for out of the box solutions.

We've thus decided to focus on the following issues:
*Military Council
*Resistance Wars
*Coaching & Recruitment
*International involvement
*Foreigners



Issue 1: Military Council
This month, the eNL congress was freshened with a new idea by several I&W members, which completely fits with our ideals for a more efficient eNetherlands. They plead for the establishment of independant military council. In this way, the military won't be unnecessary be reformed each and every month. Also, this ensures people with military knowlegde will be the ones who control one of the most powerfull instutions, instead of a possibly inexperienced Minister of Defense or President. We agree on this proposal, and will help to get the possible establishment structured and voted on. We however stress to introduce a option to replace generals and other military staff, if necessary, making it not completly independant from our government and congress.We will research the possibility of private military units being involved in this new council.



Issue 2: Resistance Wars
Each and every week, Resistance Wars in our Polish occupied are started and supported by our government, who unrightfully think there is a chance to win those. Worse of all, supplies are being handed out during those wars. We want the rogue attacks to be stopped, which have only grown with the current government, and want the coordination back! We want to support our players to stock up their bazookas & energy bars, which they now spill on hopeless resistance wars supported by government officials.



Issue 3: Recruitment & Coachment
The current ministry of Education, Culture & Coachment is one of the most active ministries the last two months, being led by TDP member NoTie112. Many progress has been made, but more heavy commitment to this ministry is needed. We want to set up an independant infrastructure for this purpose, as do we want to make the links between eRepublik and the community tools (Forum & IRC) easier by constructing a friendly portal for our starting players which will links all the different pieces of our community together.



Issue 4: International Involvement
Our current trial status to EDEN has opened world to us, in which we can once again thrive towards internationally recognized status, and eventually the liberation of our country. We support our alliance with EDEN and will strive for full membership. We also support the signing of more MPP's, a process which started during the last 2 governments.



Issue 5: Foreigners
We support an community existing of both Dutch and foreign citizens. We do however notice that recently foreigners, who do not participate in our community, are running for congress, making friends come to ask for Dutch citizenship and even inviting new players to start a citizen account within eNetherlands. We do not immediately refuse having foreigners running for positions within our country, we do however have our doubts about the intentions of some of the current foreigners and request the government and congress to watch these processes.
