[Stats] Commodore growth from Feb to Dec 2022

"Ok but what about the growth of Air Commodores in each country?" This is what CauchySchwarz asked me after I published some data about LegendXX and Air Commodore for December 2022. Then he agreed to send me data relative to Air Commodores which he captured in February 2022. What follows is a comparison between February and December.

The first column represents the country ranking in December, you can find the ranking change in brackets. Then you have country names and the respective totals of Commodores for February and December. In the further two columns there are the change that happened in these 10 months, and the rate of growth. In the last two columns you can find the voters in the last elections*, and the share of Commodores on the total number of voters.

I don't analyze data in detail, but it is interesting to note that the overall growth rate is about 67%. This means that for a country to keep pace with others, it should have been growing of at least 67% in the last 10 months. Another thing to have a look to is the share of Commodores on the population, which globally is 15%. This shows the potential for further growth of countries, and gives an idea about past growth. Countries above 15% grew quicker and have less room for improvement, countries under that threshold grew slower and have more unrealized potential.

If one was to go further in analyzing data, countries could be divided in developed/underdeveloped and growing/not growing, based on whether they are above or under the 15% AC share and 67% growth thresholds. For example the top country, Serbia, would be underdeveloped ( 11% ) but growing ( 77% ); USA would be developed ( 20% ) and growing ( 87% ); Romania would be underdeveloped ( 13% ) and not growing ( 27% ), while Croatia would be developed ( 18% ) and not growing ( 39% ).

From there it would be interesting to understand what are the drivers of growth, whether training wars, pack players, a rich economy or real wars (and the epics they entail). It would also be worth to see what hampers growth: lack of positive factors such as the former, or also shocks such as mass-bans, political turmoil, or simple boredom.

What are your thoughts about this? What do you think are the best ways to sustain or hamper growth, based on your countries' experiences? Let me know in the comments!

And here's the table, enjoy!

*Number of voters for Paraguay is referred to the Presidential elections, that were the last held in the country.
