[Royal Navy] Add A Friend Project

Day 1,713, 16:42 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by WayneKerr

Friends: 3rd person singular present, plural of friend

Noun: A person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations.
Verb: Add (someone) to a list of contacts associated with a social networking Web site.

The Royal Navy are kicking off the Add a Friend Project. A program designed to get all Royal Navy members connected. It's a scary place out there full of mystery and intrigue, some are shy and need coaxing out, some are unaware such a community exists, whereas others don't need any encouragement at all. We are hoping this encourages more to have a voice within the game and grow into knowledgeable active players. There's a wealth of information and fun lurking out there.

There are many benefits of having all members added as friends with one other, the main being Military Orders can be passed along quickly and efficiently, directing our damage to where its needed, when it's needed. But this isn't the only thing that can benefit from having a connected Royal Navy. Hopefully more will join in with the already great community!

Competitions are set up and running and we encourage all members to get involved, come and praise those that surprise you and do well, while laughing at those that fail majestically. While maybe winning bonus supplies and tasty gold.

We are a lighthearted bunch in the Navy and most anything goes! There's many characters already here, there's Matt Timmins our resident Local Radio DJ with the weirdest taste in music, the ever helpful grumpy old man mick cain (who spends most of his spare time on a PC, still cant use it properly), to BitchWilly who is neither a bitch nor to my knowledge has a penis, and not forgetting the whirlwind that is helpmeslack!

We are truly hoping this project uncovers a few other gems.

So What Is It?

Well quite simply, each day 5 members will be chosen and their links posted on the Royal Navy MU feed. All you do is click the link and select the 'add as friend' button by their name. We encourage as many as possible to add them to their friends list (if you aren't already connected).

That's it.

A Simple way to hopefully get more people involved and active. So keep an eye out for the Add a Friend shout out in the MU feed, and please get connected
