[PMO] The Current Situation

Day 2,091, 21:31 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

My fellow citizens,

This term has begun with some clear uncertainty. At the present moment we are under heavy attack from eIndonesia and CoT. Sadly, our good friend Plato has intervened in his infinite wisdom and created the new "National Shield Competition" which essentially means that if you fight for your country with a NE you get extra stuff.

What does this mean? Well it means that our allies and MPPs are unlikely to fight for us if they themselves has an NE, because an NE gives you bonus damage in turn means more rewards for less fights... Cheers Plato.

Hopefully in two days when this damned tournament ends we can regain some initiative with the help of TWO. I want to reaffirm my governments commitment to making peace, keeping relations with TWO and improving our domestic policy.

The Department of Education is currently reviewing the New Citizen Message and the Department of Finance is putting together the budget. Department of Defence and Foreign Affairs are working hard to communicate and coordinate the battle situation at the present and hopefully, whilst orders have been slack, we can get kicking very soon.

I need to apologise as well for my recent absence. Unfortunately I was in and out for three days after some RL issues arose that needed my attention. All is hopefully sorted and back on track. So from here on, we are onwards and upwards again.

So what now? Our plan is to keep battling for our regions. We cannot expect to hold them against eIndonesia whilst this tournament continues, but hopefully we can be patient and struggle onwards until we reach a stage where we can mount a successful assault. We hope it won't be long, but time will tell.

We did it last term, we won our regions back and took Java, that is something that should be remembered, the little nation that could. But for now: patience is a virtue.

Flatty
Prime Minister
