Join the new world

As the Elections Head for OOPS, I write this article to ask for your help, people of eSA.



The Congress elections will soon be upon us and we need as many candidates as possible. Last election, OOPS ran 7 candidates and all 7 got in. I hope to increase this number and retain the success rate of our candidates to show OOPS is still alive and kicking and is capable of producing quality candidates.

Even if you don't want to be a member of Congress, you should still put your name forward.


There is always the possibility of security threats to eSA. The only sure way to keep these threats out is to have enough candidates to block these people. If we are to achieve this number, we need as many candidates as possible. OOPS members, please go here ( http://forums.erepubliksa.com/oops-party-chambers/time-for-congress-elections/ ) and put your name forward if you have not already.

For those not in OOPS, I encourage you to do the same for your party! Approach your party president and offer to candidate in a region where you are needed. By running you not only help secure eSA, but also have the potential to get 5 gold for what basically amounts to 10 minutes of your time. You can also resign at any point so long as your give the Speaker notice beforehand. So long as you don't approve random people's cit requests or propose random laws, there is absolutely no downside to running.

Remember, eSA's future could depend on you.
