[MoFA] Quick Update

Day 2,211, 03:18 Published in India Serbia by Ind1anMartyr

Dear eIndians (and other friends and foes)

Its only been a few days since I have taken up the MoFA position (an official position after a very very long time!) I will do my best to do justice to it but please pardon me for my absence over the weekends...my RL is way more fulfilling and I consider my family time sacred 😃

Thankfully my shortcomings are more than made up by a couple of truly outstanding members of the Foreign Affairs team - Bharmal and Srinjoy Sarkar, who have been working tirelessly on their own with little input from me or windfall. Literally making their own way...splendidly. Definite candidates for CP in the not so distant future and I request all eIndians to appreciate their efforts.

Right, now let's get onto the business end of things!

There is a very important reason why there haven't been any updates from our side (weekend notwithstanding!) Let me try and clarify things for everyone.

As you would have noticed, Pakistan have been winning rather easily against us while we have always been an irritant in the Croatian side. As those who visit our IRC operations room would tell you, we have taken our foot off the pedal since a while now. Why?

Its simple - we have everything to gain and little to lose. We are fighting a guerilla war (thanks to our limited resources and allies) and the sooner we accept how its waged, the better for us.

Let us make no bones about the fact that owing to past actions and decisions, and how the game has changed, we do not have true allies ON THE SAME SIDE (for instance Bulgaria is aligned with Croatia, while Belarus are fighting Bulgaria!).

So it is very difficult to sustain victories - logistically it is a black hole with minimal (if any) rewards for continuous war. The wiser path is to conserve resources, build up friendships, allies, improve our image and decide on an ideology that will not change over time. More importantly, improve division wise co-ordination, strengthen Divisions 1, 2 and 3 and wait for the opportune moment.

If anyone has ever studied Maratha history, you would learn a lot from how Shivaji overcame the vastly powerful Mughals by waging a war of attrition and patiently planning unconventional surprises, alongwith some completely conventional friendships.

We may be small but we do have quite a bit to offer to our allies.

(Yep, that's little ole' us)

We have shown that we can plan and co-ordinate beyond our resources and its time we used this to streamline our Army command and be useful for our allies.

(In my next article I shall list who our allies will be priority wise)

For now, we need to take a very important decision that WILL affect our future foreign policy and very soon, we will be calling for a referendum from all our citizens.

Please understand that this will be a CLOSED REFERENDUM and will only be sent to all citizens who have been part of eIndia from D1 to D4.

There is no question of "wrong" results being put out since windfall and the FA Team will be announcing the results of the referendum... and if you do not trust us, there is no point electing us. Since we are already elected, now you have no choice except trust us 😃

Please make sure EVERYONE who gets the link to referendum, spends 1 minute of their time filling it up. If you do not fill it up, you cannot really complain that the Foreign Affairs process is undemocratic! 🙂

Suffice to say, we will slowly but surely work towards rebuilding eIndia in all possible ways. We need your support, help and trust... and of course PATIENCE. (Rome was not built in a day... and it hasn't yet been rebuilt!) 😃

Sorry for the wall of text, DO READ IT!
