[MDP] Taking Care of Business

Well, the PP election went as planned. Thanks to all for following in the MDP tradition and voting how you're told.

Commissar Program

We still need volunteers for this program. If I don't get enough volunteers (I need 6) by tomorrow night (let's say 20:00 erep) I'll be forced to make it the duty of congress hopefuls. Please help your party brothers and sisters by volunteering for this program. Just PM me and say 'Hey I want to help make MDP even more awesome'

Congress

I've had lots of inquiries for congress slots. I'll try to accommodate them all, but keep in mind, not everyone is going to get a plum-slot. If you look on the 24th, and don't like your position. Too bad. I do promise this, I'm going to be placing myself in a bubble position so that my success or failure as a PP directly relates to whether I get into congress or not.

PP election shenanigans

On election day there were some posts in the party feed about helping out with the PTO of another party. I want to make this clear to everyone now, under my tenure as PP, MDP does not support these actions. If you ever want to rise to any meaningful position in the party, steer clear of this kind of mess. The days of The Coalition are behind us, and while trying to forge a new level of cooperation with other parties, we must allow them to conduct their business as they see fit.

Military Council

I have finally decided on a Council to support me this month.

Mary Chan - selected for her vast experience and dedication to the party
Venoms III- selected for his ability to mass PM, also he knows stuff
Rylde - no explanation needed
Homer J Simpson- Again, no explanation needed
Muglack - He's revived the party more times than I can remember
SGTRock - New to MDP but not the game. He brings a wealth of experience
IBleedBlue93 - Continues to impress me

As I said in my previous article. If you want to have a say in how the party is run you need to stand out in the council's eyes. Becoming a Commissar would be a good first step 😉

Conclusion

Let's make this month a good one. I know MDP has come a long way, but there's still more work to be done to ensure that our party remains the pre-eminent party in eCanada. Good luck and happy hunting to you all.

Yes it is, admitting that you have had a dishonest past as a party (and that's a good thing). Besides PMing two of the other PPs, can you be more specific on what this "new level of cooperation with other parties" actually entails?
