[Irish Army] Foreign Legion
Ian E CoIeman
July 29, 2014
Hello eIreland,
Today I would like to officially announce the creation of the eIrish Foreign Legion. A regiment purposed to the services of those soldiers who wish to fight for eIrish orders, but who choose not to hold eIrish citizenship.
Above is the crest and uniform of the new Foreign Legion regiment. In the top left corner of the crest is an Irish harp, symbolizing Irish culture throughout the world. On the top right it features a ship, to symbolize the Irish diaspora and those who join our cause from across the seas. On the bottom it features a celtic clover with a gallóglaigh sparth axe, symbolizing broader celtic culture, and the Irish "foreign warriors" who made their mark in Irish history.
Due to the status of Irish Army as a national, government sponsored, military unit, it goes without saying that I cannot offer commune membership to non-eIrish citizens, nor any other privileges reserved by our government for eIrish citizens. However, this regiment welcomes our foreign brothers into the service of a sovereign eIreland, and gives them a place of their own to be a part of our great community - to love, and receive love, as brothers and sisters in arms.

Thank you! The tanks are much appreciated. o7
My favourite regiment is either Connacht, because of the chainsaw design, or Dublin, because its the regiment I'm in.
